Gutted, caged, s197 with Coyote mounted mid engine with a Porsche transaxle, twin GT3071R turbochargers. Tube frame front end with redesigned heim-joint, double a-arm suspension.
Full ground effects, including splitter, side skirts, diffuser, and a rear spoiler connected to the rear knuckles as to not change suspension geometry as downforce increases.

I like to think outside the box.

I'm in the weird position of finally owning the car I always dreamed of. For many years now, I've dreamed of building an NMRA or FFW OUTLAW type Mustang, but keeping it streetable. It would be "True Street" legal so I could bust some azz at the track, and then drive it home.

Well, through a series of strange circumstances I was able to start building this car in earnest three years ago and it is almost done.

We'll see if it lives up to my dreams and expectations. For me to consider it a success, it [eventually] needs to run at least 7.99 @ 180. That's a pretty tall order, but all the of pieces are in place to make that happen.


A funny thing happened along the way though. As I've gotten older and my perspective has changed, I suspect that I might be happier with a car like the Shelby Super Snake. (which would be cheaper to build than the car I have)

My Black 2006 GT with a RGR 302 Long block, FRPP intake, 62MM TB, Custom Twin 57MM Billet Ball Bearing Garrett water/oil cooled turbos, full suspension and a Saleen body kit (minus the wing) with Black Custom HRE wheels 20x9 Front and 20x11 Rear's. TR6060.

Mine is probably pretty low on peoples list, but I'd like to have a 98 cobra with a full terminator swap including the interior and dash, KB swap, HRE wheels, and a big brake kit. For the body I'd like coilovers with a 2 inch drop, 03-04 style heat extractor hood, and a saleen rear spoiler. I'd like to be around 600-700 rwhp so I could still street the thing anytime I wanted too. I guess I could say this is a goal more than a dream.

A black CHP notchback 5.0, with a new Coyote motor, and transmission. Drop it on some coilovers, widen the stock wheels a little bit, Maximum Motorsports suspension work, one-piece headlights, thats it. Reliability and fun is the name of the game here.
