Evening all from the UK, just a quick question please, I want to fit wheel spacers to my 2005 V8 . I've fitted the car with Steeda lowering springs with 1.5 inch drop in the back and 1 inch drop at front, the car has its original wheels fitted that i want to keep, so question 1 is Will 25 mm 1 Inch hub centric spacers be ok? Question 2. Ebaich or H&R spacers or any other recommendations please and is it ok to fit them to all wheels. Thanks. Russ.

Why do you want to run spacers with the OEM wheels? Just curious.

I have been running one inch spacers on my 2012 V6 with 19 inch rims on all four wheels for two years now with no issues. The only thing you have to worry about is that a lot of stock wheels, including mine don't have enough room for the rim to sit flush against the spacer because the studs are just a small bit too long so you will either have to replace stock with shorter studs or you can do what I did and grind 1/4 inch off of each stud and now each wheel fits snug against the spacer like it should. I don't track the car so I'm not worried about issues with the front but it's not recommended to put wheel spacers on the front wheels. That being said, I have had my four one inch spacers on for two years now with no issues. I hope this helps. 26_03_19_3340.JPG 26_03_19_3344.JPG

I, too, have run spacers on all 4 wheels for the better part of 3 years with no issues.

I've been a spacers user off and on for years. One of my original inspirations was from a Brit site detailing installation of GT500 front brakes on a 200x GT/CS, which used the same wheels I see on your car, if I'm not mistaken. The H&R high-quality one-inch items did require shaving five millimeters off the ends of the car's studs. They interfered with mounting the wheels on the spacered hubs. My alternative was to use the "Fanblade" Ford wheels: they have a cavity where the studs fit with no alterations, and were of the same specifications but different appearance.

I've searched for the site I followed, but haven't found it yet. I'll put up its URL when/if I find it.
