which springs would you recommend? Why? And maybe share a pic on the drop.
If I'm not wrong I think the sportlines might have the lowest drop. As far as coilovers go, I'd love to go that way, but just not in the budget right now.

Sportlines do offer the lowest drop that I know of although some people say Tein has the lowest. From what I remember the two companies claim the same drop specs. H&R Super Sports are the next lowest.

Just remember that having the lowest drop may not offer the best ride comfort. Some people care about that but I know it's becoming less of a priority now.

I personally don't mind the Sportlines, even on 20's but it depends on the shocks/struts and which s197 you have. The 11-14's I have ridden in definitely feel better with Sportlines than my '09 on 20's with Eibach's Pro Kit.

Over looked the year, the 11-14 is a 2.4" rear drop, 05-10 are a 1.9" rear

Sportlines have some lows, I haven't looked at them in a while. Had them written off as 1.5" square.

I have H&R Supersports, and they are pretty low, but I think Sportlines look a tad bit lower in person. I have never actually taken a measurement. And FWIW, running the Supersports with Tokico D-Specs and 18X10 Forgestars, the ride isn't too bad, but defintely rougher than stock. And my car is a DD/autoX/track day car.

A buddy on mine is running Tein (ChrisGT here on the forum), and they are really low as well, probably Sportline territory.

I had Sportlines on my car with Koni orange's, and the ride quality was pretty good.

Yeah I'm running the Tein's. I would say they are the lowest spring in the rear, but Sportlines are a lower spring in the front from what I can tell. My car is slammed in the rear, tucking tire in some cases, but the front isn't cutting it for me lol

Nice whip! Just looked up the price of the tein, and I must say those are tempting. You can't beat that rear drop! Now, if only the front would be a bit lower there'd be a no contest

I have sportlines with koni yellows. I've street driven the set up on full stiff and can deal with it for a day or two, then I go back down. I absolutely love this set uppersonally. Eibach says 1.6" in the front and 2" in the rear.

I have had about every spring on my car lol. 05-09 Sportlines, 11+ sportlines, H&R super sports, FRPP Ks, Eibach pro kit. H&R supersports are the lowest spring hands down. Ride quality was too bad for me though, I bottomed out the rear suspension on everything and that was with shortened bump stops. Right now I am running 11+ sportlines on Koni yellows and it is by far the best all around set up. Handles great, rides great, looks low but doesn't bottom out on everything. Just wish the nose was a tad lower. Thinking about getting a set of coil overs now to put it exactly where i want lol

I really like the sportlines, but is the ride quality really that bad over stock? I just replaced the rear shocks about 4k back, but I went with some cheap kyb shocks. What would you guys recommend for new shocks and struts?

In order to control the lower drop I would go with something like Eibachs Pro shocks and struts or something with adjust ability. Popular brands are Koni, Bilstein and Cortex. Some here hate Koni but I like the their yellow adjustable ones, I've ridden in a few cars with them including my father's 5.0 and they did well, had a better feeling than my own Koni STR.T's but they are the lower level so the yellows are better for obvious reasons.

Completely agree. With the '11+ Sportlines, the rear is centered in the wheel opening to make the wheels fit just right, but the front is annoyingly about a 1/2" too high.

I think the '05-09 Sportlines are a better choice, even on the '11+ cars.

I cut a half coil off my front '11+ Sportlines. It's not something I recommend doing as it's a pain in the ass and the springs don't sit as they should in the spring cup. But I'm insane and I had to get rid of that front wheel gap.

The rear of my BMR's are about a half inch to an inch too high. I don't think I'm brave enough to cut them though!
