Widening Rims and Spacers

I'm going to have a pair of 18"bullet rims widened from 8.5" to 10"and going with a 285/40R18 tire. Since they can only add to the inner part of the rim (I believe this will increase the offset).Are there any rubbing issues or is a spacer required ?

It looks like there is only 1.5" from the stock wheel to the shock.

Good pic, thanks. Hopefully that SVT rim uses the same offset for comparison purposes.
