Here's a couple of my 305/45-18 Nittos on 18x9.5 in wheels. My car is not lowered at all.

i was wondering the same thing. Guess that pic proves that 305's don't stick out past the top of the fenderwell

I wouldn't think that they rub at all. Mine don't. I have jacked up the front corner of the car before so high that it lifts up the same side rear tire and the opposing side rear tire never touched the fender.

You guys running the 305's... what offset/back spacing do your rims have?

I was looking at a calc (http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_specs.jsp , posted by Roper on another thread) I am just looking at some 275/45/18's on 10inch rims and am wondering if everything is going to GeeHaw when I put them on.

275's might look a bit funny on a 10 inch rim...Personally I wish I had went with 275's on the front instead of 255's...I have a 9in rim up front and the sidewall looks kinda weird, but the rear (295 on a 10) looks pretty good

How many miles are you supposed to get out a set of those tires? I may go to them whenever my 295/45's wear out.

I'd like to see a rear shot of some low profile 305's on a lowered car. Anyone got any pics floating around?

Ok, from what I can find, a 275 tire can go on a 8 - 10.5" rim. Split the difference? Go with a 9 or 9.5" rim then?

My 18X10s have 185mm backspacing and +45mm wheel offset.

Expected mileage is in direct corolation with amount of track time. But just daily driving no burnouts, you could probably get 10K out of them.
