Hey guys I'm in the market for a new radiator and looking at a mishimoto but I have limited room with my hellion turbo kit and there's no room to spare between the fan and stock radiator as is. Can anyone tell me if it pushes the fan out further?

Did the hellion kit require moving the radiator forward?

If not, you can re-drill the upper bracket and make up plates to relocate the lower mounts about 1 1/2" forward.

I didnt have to touch it for the kit. I also have an auto so there is a trans cooler between the radiator and ac condenser. I can relocate that no problem though, so that might be possible.

The stock radiator is pretty small already I think the size of the fan is more of a concern for me. That's my next problem too

Why? Is it a dedicated track car or do you drive it on the street? Just curious.

Anyone have pics of this done? I wonder how much clearance there is between the radiator and intercooler when the rad is moved forward.

I was looking at my radiator last night the sides of it are still thick. However I do think it would be possible if the AC condenser is removed but Id really like to keep that lol.

I just left town for work and won't be home for 3 weeks so I would take pictures if I could. The AC condenser did not need to be moved and there is still room for a larger intercooler.

Were you able to do this with a stock or larger aftermarket radiator?

It is the stock radiator but most aftermarket radiators use the same size end tanks and just have a thicker core. Unless you use something not made for an S197, the relocation should work with an aftermarket radiator.

The larger radiators already hit the frame so you cant use the top bracket tilt trick. You would need a slim fan shroud.

Not a track only car. A street car. Want to change up how my turbo kit is and face turbo the way I want.

Aren't you worried about diminishing your cooling capacity? I mean most people are trying to go the other way. Heat kills mechanical stuff.
