Just curious if anyone has had an issue with the passenger window not closing automatically after the door is closed. My 05 just started doing that. It also won't go up automatically with the switch, it has to be held, but will go down. Don't believe it wiring as the window works with switch as long as you hold it

Yes, fairly common. The reset procedure is as follows. Turn key on. Turn key off. Roll both windows down at the same time. Both windows up at the same time. Leave key in ignition. Lock doors. Crawl out through trunk. Close trunk. Call locksmith.

Not really. But the procedure is silly. It's on here somewhere. @Fullboogie has it in a post.

Attempt to do the manual reset first. I can tell you that we have seen various issues. Regulator/motor assembly, pigtail to motor and soemtimes even the door latch itself

Resets never worked for me, but replacing the motor fixed mine. Easy job.

Simple reset before replacing anything...
with key-on, hold down the window switch, let window roll all the way down, holding down the button for another 3 seconds, then release button.
Roll window up, holding the button; hold button 3 seconds after window has rolled all the way up, then release button.
That's all there is to it. Works on either window. If it doesn't work the first time, try again, be sure doors are closed when you do it.
