It will not be road legal.
Fuck carburetors.
Low HP to fuel economy.
Good luck getting registered.
Not helpful or nice and not all states have inspections. I live in a state where it's easily registered with no complications.

Nice stable of cool cars!

Our super moderator works for Ford. Maybe he can search that part number and see if one is sitting on a shelf somewhere?

Doesn't matter. Just because they dont check. But what ever.
Also, there are SOOO many options for direct bolt in swaps. I'd do a 32v 4.6 from a mark 8 with a carb if you are so hung up on antique tech.

For the actual race series or just 'inspired by'?
Yes for completing track days and eventually a lemons race in 2027. Im helping a 16 year old neighbor build this car. I have always wanted to do this with a stock ish 302 and T5 tranny in a s197. All items to complete build I have in my parts inventory.
(except for motor mounts) The build initially will be very simple.... if this young man wants to go faster after he gets more experience behind the wheel. Then will improve the car with better technology.

That would be amazing if he could find those parts. I appreciate you making the suggestion

If needed/usable for fabrication, I have the frame brackets from a 351c 72 Mustang.

Thank you for trying to help me. As i've stated multiple times in previous postings in this thread. I realized they make tubular k members that will support a older 302 block. I don't want to put a tubular K membe in my build. I just want the motor mounts. I've known this for several months on availability of k member. Summit racing years ago sold motor mounts for this conversion, but they're no longer in production..... so the motor mounts are out there. I just need to try to find them. Once again, thank you for trying to help. But i've stated before, I don't want to buy a k member. I've spent hours google searching, attempting to try to find motormounts, and it's difficult..... not difficult find k member.

So I really think you're going to struggle to find such a niche product after this long.. I did some Googling real quick and someone mentioned that Steeda made mounts at one point, may be worth a phone call. I also found this thread:

The pictures are gone but the user said he made mounts with flat stock which surely wouldn't be too hard to do.

Thank you 4061. I agree with your assessment. But I know that they were available at one time, and I was hoping someone in this forum might have some sitting on a shelf or new ones They never used. I deal with cars that are sixty years old Regularly and find hard to find parts. Also a lot of automotive enthusiasts don't get rid of stuff/parts and hold onto it. I'm utilizing this forum to hopefully tap in to either someone that's custom made Mounts for this application or has some available. I'm perfectly capable of fabricating motor mounts, but once again, if I can find the m6038 cjpr or similar. It's worth it. I appreciate your insight.

4061. I called steeda and they did make them. Parts # 555-4019. They were needed for scca racing back in the mid to late 2000's. Unfortunately, they no longer stock them or have any leftover. That was a very good suggestion.I appreciate.

How does the new Godzilla motor compare to the Windsor? I know both are pushrod but that's as far as my knowledge goes.. BUT there's mount kits out there for the Godzilla motor, if it's close enough in mount style and placement maybe they'd be a better option than fabricating from scratch.

A lot more if you use the Godzilla motor but the mounts themselves are less than $200, if they're close enough to make work for an old Windsor it would save a bunch of time fabricating or tracking down the Windsor mounts, just depends how close the mount locations are..
