I think it looks fantastic inside and out. Love the color and execution. Nothing wrong with looking like a GT500, its just the Shelby lettering and Cobra badges that i have a problem with and its not like its a 6'er or anything. I bet this thing hauls ass and yOu did do a really nice job with conversion, interior pieces and all.

I am not a fan of clones unless parts are not available as with some classics. But it is a pretty car, and all ill need is another 30 to 40 years to be a convert lol. I don't even know if id want 500 parts on mine regardless of badging but I think I'm in the minority that way.

Nice car, looks good in that color.

Also, when people say stuff like 'nice shelby' do you correct them?

^^X2^^

I think it's clean and love seeing one done in that color. I would like to see it without the stripes and on street tires. Thats just me.

I think as long as your not trying to pass it off/sale as a Shelby then what ever. I'm not a big fan of fake badging.

That thing is BAD ASS! I love it. I have always liked non factory colors on special vehicles. When every gt500 owner see's you go down the road they will scratch their heads saying to them selves "I didn't think they came in that color??" I have been thinking about painting my Lightning something different for that reason. I say as long as you can back up the performance and be honest when people ask or you tell them about it then more power to ya!

I have ALWAYS started any conversation off the same way as I did this thread clearly stating it is a clone.

Needs more gauges! :D

Looks good.

Hahaha the car looks good no doubt, but thats the first thing my wife said when I showed it to her..."You think he could have put another gauge in there somewhere?" (don't feel too bad though, my wife thought my wideband was displaying my miles-per-gallon :thud:)
