What are the benefits to removing the evap system, other than weight? Does it help at all with the gas tank filling issue? I have to hold my nozzle 180* to fill up without it clicking off.

Any other cons to removing it?

main benefit to me was getting rid of more ugly clutter. I don't know about the filling issues, I've only run about a tank of gas since I did it. From what I understand, proper venting is the key to keep it from clicking off. I searched a couple other threads on here before I did it. Only con I can think of is failing inspections if your state has them. No such thing here in OK so I had no hesitation pulling it all off.

Finally Done!!!

Finished the wire tuck today! Started right up no problems whatsoever, big relief! Now I need to put the fenders, hood, bumper, wheels back on, bleed brakes and clutch and go for the Sunday drive tomorrow. I have included pics covering the process over the last month. Not an easy weekend job but I am very pleased with the results and should really stand out at the shows this summer.

Here is the main feed from the fuse box now located under dash:

I had to take some of this loom off because it "shortened" up the leads to the fuel injections too much and would not let some of them reach once passed through the manifold. But this is how it looks under the manifold:

Once the plastic wheel well is back in none of this is visible:

Awesome look man. Very clean. I think you could have just fixed the welds and holes and it would have been fine like that. The wire tuck just took it over the top.

In the 7th picture what is the red cable running to on the body?

It is a ground cable going to the new body ground from the battery. (yeah, i know it's red). I reused the old battery terminal negative connector and a threaded battery post to attach it. You can see the bolt in pic#11. I also have another battery ground in the trunk area. Good grounds are a must, when I first did the battery relocation I had problems with power cutting out and it was due to improper grounds, this was my solution and have had no problems since.

You must have cut quite a bit out of the main harness or did you tuck most of it inside the car?

tucked above fuse box under dash on passenger side, really only lengthened wires did not do much shortening, trying to keep splices to a minimum.
