I have all my equipment from my cougar and now i want to install it in my mustang, keeping the stock head unit.
I have already bought a port so i can stick witht the stock head unit but where does the remote signal wire attach to?
I heard about attaching it to a fuse, if so which one?

Best way to do it is to order the Pac soem4 (you can get it at crutch field. you connect it between your factory head unit and the factory amps for the door woofers( amps found under driver side of dash) That is the cleanest signal and already crossed over for low frequency. The Pac connector has a remote source that activates only when the radio is on. The connector also has rca's as well and will not damage your stock head unit like a standard line out converter that you splice into speaker wires. http://www.pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=883&CategoryID=28
