Wiring Question

Replacing my CS fog/driving lights (55W) with some LED daytime driving lights (8.5W). Can I use a 16 guage wire and connector to attach the LEDs to the OEM wire which is likely a 14 or 12 guage wire? Any other issues that I might run into like fuses? I had to lose the fogs as they interfered with my intercooler pipes.

yes... you are fine... leds draw alot less amps then regular bulbs.

If you were going from LEDs to incandescent, you might have an amperage issue, but you'll be fine going to LEDs.
