So in my other thread you all made me realize that when doing a power adder things ends up costing a ton more in the end than expected. So I am having a change in plans. I am planning going nitrous now since its is a quite cheaper than other paths. I am going to go with the zex wet kit and I want to spray 100 shot.

I believe these are all the parts that I will need to run the nitrous at 100 shot.

1.zex kit
2.window switch
3.blowdown
4. purge kit
5.39 pound injectors
6.Boost A pump
7.Plugs

I am pretty sure I am missing something maybe? Is it necessary to have the Boost a pump? Also what gauges would you all recommended?

Thanks for all the information.

it's cheaper from the get go, but refilling that bottle everytime for about 40-50 bucks ads up quickly as a 10lb bottle aint gonna last all day at the races if your making quite a few runs

its far cheaper to get a sc or turbo as your main power adder at the end of the day

I would just save more to get what you really want instead of going a route you didn't want to go just to go faster till your tank is empty.
Permanent power > temporary power.

I dont know man. You should not settle. Save your cash and buy what you really want. Filling that bottle will get old IMO.

You all make a great point. I would love to have a turbo.I would plan on getting the the on3 kit how much is it necessary to get upgraded turbo? would you all recommend it? Also what else would I need to make it complete other than BAP and inejctors and tune. How soon should I look into getting gauges for the turbo (boost, narrow, fuel etc? whichones? ) Thanks

Wideband is a must. Dont do it until you can do it complete. Half assing it is dangerous.

Go with 808muscle on this one. The only thing narrow will help you with is taking money out of the bank. spend the extra money and get a wideband. Also to save some cash look at Aeroforce gauges. You can get all the info that your car computer is already reading. Also if you have a good turbo shop in town you might be able to find a shop that will make you a custom one for good price. Might be alittle more then the system you are looking at now but you get what you pay for. Might as well do it once and know you will enjoy it rather down the road wishing you had.

Forget that bottle stuff...... Save your coin and just pick up a FI kit.... Much more room for growth going FI then juiced.... Also, it isnt 100% nessary to have gauges, you can always pick them up sometime after. As long as the car has a good tune you can do without them. They are more of a lux and piece of mind..... I ran my car without gauges for awhile..... Actually, im down a boost/vac gauge right now due to some autometer BS....

So If I do get the funds its going to be

on3 turbo kit
fuel injectors
BAP
Spark plugs
Wideband
tial Wastegate
Dyno tunes

Are their any good tuners here in the corpus christi/San antonio area(texas). I am not sure of any in my area. How safe would be to drive the car 2 hours with the kit on? Probably not the greatest idea right? The only reason why I ask is because I dont have a trailer.
Is that the basic list?

Sounds about right....
Heres another thread, its bascially alot of TX tuners being mentioned
http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58203

Also, you cant drive that car unless you get a tune for the 39lbers.... Contact a tuner and they may be able to email you something to get the car to them....

If you're going with a wet shot the 39lb injectors won't be needed. The BAP is just insurance. If you're going to want that big power all the time, these guys are right, nitrous isn't what you want to do. $40-$60 refills will add up fast. N2O is more for the Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde people lol. Only flip the switch when you need Mr. Hyde to handle business. Turbo's are alot like this too, but I don't trust things that whistle and blow ;)
