Lowering my 11. Get 2011+ struts/springs OR 05-10 struts/springs with gt500 mounts?

AM has them listed as working with all 05-13 Mustangs, so it is kinda confusing.

AM also says

"Improves Handling. Improve the handling and performance of your Mustang by replacing those soft stock factory front strut mounts with an upgraded harder pair that were featured as original equipment on the 2011 Shelby GT500 Track Pack option.

Ford Racing Quality. When adding performance suspension parts to your Pony, trust the folks that know it best to provide top quality components that are made to out perform and out last the competition.

Application. This pair of Ford Racing Strut Mounts are a direct fit upgrade for the 2005-2010 GT, V6, and 2007-2012 Shelby GT500. They will also fit 2011-2012 GT and V6 models, but will require Ford Racing lowering springs and struts/shocks for installation.

Mustang Fitment: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 Details >>"

Sorry if I missed the answer in the thread already. But just a quick question.
I have a set of Eibach pro kit springs for my 2011 GT. Would the pro dampers from 05-10 be okay to use with the 2011 pro kit springs? I also want to upgrade to the GT500 strut mounts. Or should I just do the 2011 springs with 2011 dampers and keep the stock mounts.

The springs are interchangeable for all years regardless of which dampers and mounts that you use.

Go with the 05-10 Pro dampers, and GT500 mounts and you're good to go with the springs you have.

Some of the springs list different part numbers for the different model years, but they'll all interchange. They just have different spring rates to match the revalved dampers on the 2011's.

Why put an inferior part on the car? The 2011 mount is inferior to the GT500 mount. If you're worried about $45 when lowering the car, then you should most likely rethink lowering the car.
Where can I get the GT500 mounts for $45?
