Add another want to the list. Man I guess I'm going to have to go out and wreck mine at the track to get all these new toys!

I started with the BC extensions you can find for about $35.

Using the knob adjusters that came with the struts I ground the edge down until it would fit into the extension and then tightened down the set screw in the extension. Found some vacuum hose slightly bigger than the outside of the extension , slid it over the top of the extension and used a few wire fasteners to hold it in place, pics should explain it all, not difficult at all.

Kobollt from lowes, not sure I like them thou....they have a spring loaded valve at the bottom that I can't seem to keep close. All three of them leak at that valve so not sure what's going on with them yet.

Before they starting leaking thou it was filling the tank a lot faster than before! Twice as fast it seems!

I wonder what air pressure they are rated for? The SMC's are supposed to be 150 lbs, but on the VW forums they say they are good to 200 lbs.

I'll have to check, at first they would hold any pressure because the spring loaded valve needs some bit of pressure to close, so I had to hold them closed until some pressure built up. Then around 100psi they started leaking again and I just gave up for the night. I'm going to check out the ones they have at harbor freight tomorrow. I believe they are very similar to the SMC ones, they have a metal cage around the bowl part so I think they are made to hold more psi. I use the HF one on my garage compressor up to 140 with no issues.
