No nooo I mean it, its real nice. I love mine, black lookds good!

Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
Haha, I know. Just messin...... Its crazy how the black kinda blends into the FRPP mani....
I rotated the thermostat so the coolant hose is pointed straight underneath the manifold. I'm building an aluminum bracket to hold down the thermostat housing because only 1 bolt will be holding down the thermostat and then running the hose out the back and around to the front. I will take pics when finished but this will give me more room for the throttle body. We will see if it works:beerdrink:
Let me know how you make out with it......
More details on all these parts....:beerdrink:
Ill pull some parts out and take pics later today.... thanx GB
I love your car man and ditto on that parts list!
Thanx man  Ill list up what else is going on the car.... I also may do some of the 3" IC piping fab today so Ill take pics of that aswell...

Im in the process of making the pipes... I cant change over till im at JDM so Im pre fabbing everything and bringing it with me then throwing it on at the dyno...... This is due to the current tune on my car not working with a blow thru MAF and the FRPP manifold since this also has deletes.....

Quick parts list for the dyno....

-2.87" pulley
-Tial Q BOV
-FRPP manifold
-L&M 62mm TB
-Deka 60lb injectors
-GT500 dual pumps with dual FPDM's
-SCT BA5000 MAF after IC
-3" Aluminum piping, Blue silicone fittings, T-bolt clamps
-Gates micro V belt
-K&N filter RF-1046
-UPR catch can
-ThumpRRR 76mm Tensioner (on the car)
-Hooker super comp long tube headers (on the car)
JDM is going to have to install the FRPP manifold, injectors, and the piping with BA500 right before it rolls onto the dynojet.... Ill throw everything else on myself

So I started stg 1 of the change over to a blow thru along with having JDM dyno the car... Heres where im at...

Installed the FRPP manifold, L&M 62mm TB, and 60lb siemens injecters.... Followed by a BBR tune to get the car to the dyno..... I know, its a dick move but its the cheapest way also.... haha

Now some of you may know that you have to do some work to your stock thermo housing to make the FRPP manifold fit..... I didnt take any pics of that like a dick..... My bad, I just wanted to get done...

I also had to re-locate the IAT sensor since I didnt drill and tap the FRPP manifold.... So I drilled and tapped the vortech/paxton cast alum TB to piping fitting...
IMG_20110625_1258181.jpg

Tomarrow to Monday I have a full day(s) of.....
-Fitting in the MAF tube for the SCT BA500
-Fitting in from the TB to piping
-Changing pulleys from the current 3.40" to 2.87"
-Changing the belt
-Remove the front sway bar
-Extend MAF wiring
-Change all worm clamps to T-bolts
Car goes down to JDM on the 5th to have the final parts of the piping installed... BOV piping side, breathers, and the IAT wiring to the MAF....

Nice setup!! I bought the FRPP Intake as well as the FRPP 62MM t/b for my 2010 GT with a Vortech V3 Intercooled Kit. I wasn't able to get the intake to clear. I'm gonna have a friend who is metal fabricator make me a water neck that will clear.

Thanx man!
If you take out the spacer plate vortech gives you, take your stock neck and remove some of the metal on the inside of the holes, you'll be able to rotate it clockwise and get the clearance just like that spacer plate gives you but you'll be low enough to get the manifold to sit flush.... Another member, theKurgan, gave me the idea.....

Looking good, thinking she should make around 600rwhp.
Would be nice lol..... Id be happy with 550-580ish... Hey listen LB, thanx again for your help.... I ordered 2 of those breathers, gonna pick them up tomm at the store.... I think Im going to run my catch can on the driver side then just put a breather of the other side of the catch can barb. Then Ill just breather the pass side like you did...

No prob, that sounds like a good idea!

With the manual trans i think you will def be in the 580-600rwhp range with those mods and the 2.87 pulley.

LB, I can just toss the pcv valve and run a straight hose to the catch can right? I also plan on just using the stock snap-on elblow fittings...

Even without cams?

Also, should I shove a small ball of steel wool in the catch can to help scrub more oil? My catch can has a screen, with Id say 1/16" holes drilled into it.... This crankcase pressure stuff is still new to me

Yup I think so, I figure bc Greg setup has heads/cams, power pipe, automatic, stock displacement and lower compression and makes 600 to the wheels with a 2.87 pulley.

You have stock heads/cams but the the stroker is gonna yield another 20 or so hp and you being manual you will dyno 20-30rwhp more so yeah def think you will make some good numbers with this setup.

Wouldn't hurt to throw some steel wool in there if you wanted, probably dont need it though.

Looks great! Mine is finally done too and at the tuner. Good luck and I think you will be high 500-low 600s too. How much boost is the 2.87 pulley going to make? I just stepped down to the 3.15 so that is a huge jump down from 3.4-2.87.

Thanx Irish, It should make around 15 psi with the 2.87". You should be very close to that with a 3.15" as thats maybe 3/16" larger..... Goodluck to you too, make sure you post your final results :thumb2:
