2011 5.0 with 100 Shot first track results

2011 5.0 mods in my sig. jetted it for a 100 shot, first times in my signature. My best 60' resulted in me shifting too high I believe which led to the worse time I'm in the left lane both times, car #1531

One nice thing about these 4 V motors is it only takes about 10 minutes to pull the plugs. I'd say with the 125 shot you're knockin on the door for that 10 second slip. With the sixty foot in the 1.50 - 1.60 range do you really need a different tire?

Well keep in mind, I launch with the full hit of nitrous. I may have traction now with a 100 shot, but who knows what may happen if I go with the 125-150.

It was a test and tune night, I think all they cared about was if I was wearing long pants and had a helmet on.

When they teched me in, they didn't check for a blow down tube, or if my nitrous line was run outside of the car.

Did they even know you had nitrous on the car? It's pretty hidden- if you don't tell them, they probably have no idea.

You're right anyway- they certainly aren't the strictest out there. They never enforce stuff. LOL

So it sounds like the tires pretty much worked like I expected they would, so now where are all those who were so sure you were going to launch and go up in smoke. Oh and congrats nice runs, but don't get to greedy with the nitrous or you'll be worrying about much more than which tire to use.

What do you shift at? With all the torque nitrous makes it's better to shift alot sooner than redline, I use to shift mine at 4750 to 5000 and you can feel the difference
