Nice. It wasn't cordless though was it? I think I'm going to fork out and see how this goes. If it sucks, I can always return it.

Not the cords persay, i was saying why not just dry it by hand?

I'm lazy. :beerdrink:

The time it takes dragging around cords & such why not just take a few more mins & dry it by hand? If lazyness is an issue then why even bother washing the car? Just go get some lil debbies cakes & watch tv...lol

Because you have a much less chance of micro scratching when you don't touch the paint at all. It's not that it's quicker or easier with a blower. Actually, I can dry a car faster with a drying towel. But, especially on black cars, it's just better for the finish to not have to rub on it if you can help it.

Not to mention that it gets water out of spots you can't reach with a towel. It's just better all the way around to use air, IMO

I bought a few before giving up the idea and just ordering the Master Blaster. I would just get the idea out of your head to use a cordless one... :(

So the cordless ones suck huh?

I guess I'll get a gas one...it's just loud and smelly.

No need to pay 7 times more to dry your car.
Some people like to do that for some reason.

If you mow your own lawn or do any kind of yard work i would go ahead and by a echo yes they are pretty expensive but they are commercial blowers and will last you the rest of your life if you take care of it.

I had a back pack echo blwer and the thing is a beast you know its good if you see the mexicans using them haha. For real though it will be worth it in the long run over a exlectric blower plus not a big PITA getting a bunch of cords out and what not

The cord isn't the issue. The issue is I have nowhere to plug it into so it'd have to be gas or battery. :beerdrink:

Its not the laziness factor, its about marring the finish. rubbing a towel around the car has the chance of dragging dirt across the finish causing marring. You dont have this issue as much with washing because the soapy water is a lubricant and the dirt gets suspended in the soap to keep it off the paint.
