is there a fiter that will fit on the head unit itself without the goofy procharger tube?

Which F1? The F1A has the same size inlet (3.75") as all the smaller P1's, D1's, etc. The F1C has a 4" inlet. Jump on K&N's website and see if they have a short enough filter with the correct size flange.

The problem with the F1 blowers and a filter mounted directly to the blower is the transmission case on the blower itself is thicker than the p1/d1 blowers, so the compressor housing is closer to the shock tower. This leaves little to no room for a filter mounted directly to the blower. I tried it on mine and couldn't get anything to fit.

There's no way you will fit a filter on the blower. At least not one that won't restrict the hell out of it. I run a 12" filter on the street and a screen at the track

Most but who knows what he took out since hes trying to run a F1 he could have taken out the abs, a/c,p/s,etc etc

What? The Powersteering is ran off of a belt unless it is a 2011+ car and the ABS doesn't use anything but hydraulic pressure created by the brake pedal. It also uses relays to cycle the brake lines in the case of one wheel locking up.

You could still relocate the abs unit and get a 4" tube in there. Or modify the bracket some. Good luck.

How does this guy keep the wormgear clamps on at 758hp and I couldnt at 500?
