well youve heard the hype, maybe seen some pics, but its official now, the covers are up on the site for sale. nice sleek fitted look as opposed to the big boots out there. this really finishes off the console area with leather trim options.

anyone out there that has one of the nice metal grip handles, i would really like to see some pics of just where the handles sit in relation to the groove in the plastic at the rear of the grip. i want to make a half cover to go with the metal grips. please post it up on the forum or shoot me a email at [email protected]. thanks in advance.

note: the half lever cover should be up on the website by 11-13-11 (or sooner)for use with the billet handles :)

Looks great. What arm rest pad best matches this material?

NVM. Just went to your web page. I'll probably get the trio.

I was thinking the same thing. Having the cover butt up to end of an aftermarket handle (like SHR) would really look clean.

I'm also in for a half cover if it matches up to the stock grip.
started off wanting to make the half cover, from the grip back, and are still gonna do that. but decided to make a cover that would cover the entire part. i think it flows nice with the console. heres the shelby cobra leather grip.

The Shelby one looks pretty slick for what it is. Maybe on yours if you add some stitching or something to differentiate between the grip part and the boot part? I think it needs some sort of visual break there.

Is there anyway to shove a billet e-brake handle over your leather covers?

ive never had a billet handle, but i would think it has to be made to be somewhat tight over the plastic oem so its not falling off or turning, so i dont think it would go over the leather with all the stitched seams. but thats where the half cover might come into play. we`re gonna work on that next. i might have to order a metal handle to work with. A half cover just to cover the lever was my plan for a long time till i saw the shelby last month. the leather grip was ok, but didnt do a thing for the ugly lever.

you could go with one of the boots that are out there to cover the lever and not the handle, but imo they dont flow with the console very nice, and anchoring them to the console might be a issue, though not sure. i wanted a alternative to the boots, and after a week on my car, i`m diggin it.

I really like what you've come up with so far. It's quite a bit different than others out there, and looks just as good if not better. How does the leather look matched up against your TCI shifter leather?

thanks lak3rs. our goal is to make some quality parts for a decent price and to make people happy. i`m pretty sure the tci shifter boot is not leather. but it is the smooth texture that we have in vinyl and leather. at some point i`m gonna pull the shifter back out and attempt to replace the boot with leather. if its doable, we`ll have those boots too for someone that wants colored stitch or just real leather for the tci`s

Awesome! Yeah, I know it's not leather, but a look a like on the TCI. I'm anxious to see what you come up with for the dash though. If, and when you do, I'll be ready to snag that along with an e-brake cover, and arm rest cover.

By the way, would you happen to be able to get yellow stitching? Apparently, no one on planet earth can without going to a custom shop of some sort.

Let us know when you get the half-cover that doesn't go over the handle! The one that goes all the way to the handle looks terrible in my opinion. but that's just me of course.

I was thinking the same.. does not really make sense that it looks strange to me, but it does.

I would also be in for a half cover as long as it matches up with the stock grip. If you decide to make one, you have my business!
