Also Im not real sure about these Magnaflow muflers, they are very quiet even with the larger headers, 3" pipes and 3"OR xpipe. I am used to the sound of the Flowmasters. LOL

What intake minifold is that? Sorry I'm sure if I took a while to search I'd probably find it in the thread, but it's a 2 second question so I hope nobody gets to uptight about it... :)

Congrats on getting her all together and running.... You've been building this car since my Bullitt went under the knife a few years back. Very well put together, and a badass ride for sure.

Good to hear that it's nearly done!

Yea, I'm pretty excited!

It is the JPC sheet metal (alum) version with a metallic silver urethane coating by Polydyn in Houston.

Just pm me for my cell when you are in the area.

The JPC intake is one of the nicest parts on the car that was not custom fabbed.

looking great!!!! Great job on everything..

I can't believe that I've been reading this thread for 3 years, lol.

Glad to see that it's up and running. Love that engine bay too.

Sweet deal man I know your getting stoked now that she's getting closer to being done

Thanks guys. It really has turned out better then I ever could have dreamed. Of course it has had ten different revisions in this thread and spent WAY to much time in the garage. Fact is, SHIT HAPPENS and life takes over but, y'all know what I mean.

What stall is in that thing? It sounds like it's "clutched" like a snowmobile, it's sweet!

I hope you are referring to the bad bearing on the idler pulley? LOL

Oh no, not that. I love how the RPM’s ramp right up and it seems to always stay high up in the RPM’s where the power is at as the “clutch” comes in.

I don’t know if you have ever ridden a aggressive snowmobile (sled). Mine is “clutched” so when you are at a dead stop and go WOT it immediately jumps up to about 7200rpm and then as it accelerates to its top speed of about 114mph it only gains another 800rpm for a total of 8000rpm. The variable clutches in sleds are set up to always have the motor “on the pipe” by changing the ratios between the two clutches constantly. On a basic level they have a CVT transmission.

Your car kind of sounds like that in that dyno clip. It gets right up there in the RPM’s and seems to make it’s run without having a huge RPM sweep. It sounds really pissed off!
