anyone have a write up on how to install HIDs? I dont want to cut my wires and fuk some shyt up.

The kit comes with instructions and they are very easy to install, it's plug & play. The connections will only mate up to one connection. No wire cutting at all.

I hate those really bright lights these Euro cars have here, always looks like their brights are on, so it's held me back from doing this. But with having around 5 months of driving to and from work in the dark, I may just consider these. It's pretty dark driving through farm country here.

Ed can you bring this to FFW?

YES :thumb:

If I may, I would also suggest the (6,000k) H10, 9145 Xentec Slim Ballast HID Kit the fog lights $120. This way all the lights match.

So how do I know which ones to get for the headlights, aside from color? Of course with hi/lo beam. Also which for the fogs? Read many threads in the early days about HID kits melting shit in the headlight enclosure.

Are you talking about the bulbs? There's a kit that is just one single beam, and then the hi/lo beams. These bulbs are a H13.
H13-3 / 9008-3 Bi-xenon HID Conversion Kit (Hi & Lo)

2. Also which for the fogs?
The bulb for the fogs are a H10 bulb (6,000k) H10, 9145 Xentec Slim Ballast HID Kit ). For the V6 Pony package it's a H11 (smaller fog lights) (6,000k) H11 Xentec Slim Ballast HID Kit .

3. Read many threads in the early days about HID kits melting shit in the headlight enclosure.
Never heard of anyone having that problem. Not says it hasn't happen, just never heard of it.

See I don't know shit about this. Guessing you can't just throw bulbs in there, must have the complete kit?

Since the fogs you listed below are 6000k Diamond White, is the H13-3 the same or do you pick the bulb you want? Is the fog light bulb (6000k)the only one that fits our fog lights?

You can pick the rating from the list below for the headlight or fogs. Most people will pick the 6K or the 8K. In my car, shakenmachI, and Azuress we have the 6,000K.

3,000k - Golden Yellow
5,000k - Extreme White
6,000k - Diamond White
8,000k - Iceberg Blue
10,000k - Cobalt Blue
12,000k - Exotic Violet (Mixture of Blue and Purple colors in one)
30,000k - Pink and Violet

I don't have HIDs for my fog lights, but I will later on. I just wanted to post pictures of my car and what it looks like to have different color lights.
