Ed can you bring this to FFW?
Ken303, I received your kits today
. I'll post pics of that kit later.Ed can you bring this to FFW?
. I'll post pics of that kit later.Which HIDs are those?
I have the Saleen HIDs... anyone know where they fall here?
1. So how do I know which ones to get for the headlights, aside from color?
Are you talking about the bulbs? There's a kit that is just one single beam, and then the hi/lo beams. These bulbs are a H13.
H13-3 / 9008-3 Bi-xenon HID Conversion Kit (Hi & Lo)
2. Also which for the fogs?
The bulb for the fogs are a H10 bulb (6,000k) H10, 9145 Xentec Slim Ballast HID Kit ). For the V6 Pony package it's a H11 (smaller fog lights) (6,000k) H11 Xentec Slim Ballast HID Kit .
3. Read many threads in the early days about HID kits melting shit in the headlight enclosure.
Never heard of anyone having that problem. Not says it hasn't happen, just never heard of it.
Ed
same as any other hid system that just replaces the bulb and adds a ballast. Prob chinese made; this kits in bulk go for $32 normal ballast and $39 per kit with slim ballasts.
You forgot one thing about the hi/low beams there are 4 types of hid lights.
#1 the normal low beam only you dont have a high beam option hitting the high beams will just momentarily turn off the hid's until you deactivate the high beam on most hids
Single beam system - I like the Hi/Lo beam system myself and that's what I have in my car.
#2 hi/low bulb with xenon/halogen light. Regular HID for low beam and then for high beam a very small halogen light *note the halogen light is significantly dimmer than the hid "low beam"

#3 Dual HID hi/low, This kits typically include 4 ballasts but the main problem is that since they have 2 hid/xenon tubes in the bulb the beam is not 100% centered and they tend to be off sight somewhat (mostly for show in my opinion).
????????
#4 telescoping hi/low This uses a single hid/xenon light strip on the bulb and has a mechanism to move the hid outward (where the high beam filament would be with a regular headlight bulb) to illuminate a broader spectrum and farther away.
At those prices they are prob made in china - haven't heard anything good about them yet.

He is announced on alibaba.com the main side for chinese goods... I think they are just renamed hid kits. With most suppliers if you buy 2k or more you can put whatever name you want.

Actually, these kits are half assembled in Taiwan and assembly is completed in the US. All Bulbs and Ballasts are fully tested before they are deemed for sale and are made only with High Quality Electronics. Kits you buy on e-bay are either Chinese or Japanese Made and are useless.
We offer the best kits on the market at the moment, with built-in Digital Relays so they work on basically any car, truck, van or motorcycle on the market; even off-road vehicles.
Saleen HID's are not as bright, waaay more expensive, and require you to buy a new housing, and when they go out is Saleen going to replace your parts free of charge ? ...... I doubt it.
If our kits were $39 cost, we would be selling them a lot cheaper.
Any questions may also be directed to me through this thread or PM's.
.I just received my kits today, fog lights and hi/lo headlights. I may have a question on the hi/low kit, but my car is getting a new clutch etc. this week so I can't install this stuff until next week. From looking at it I think I have it figured out, except on the control box for the hi/lo. Once I get my car back, if I have questions I'll PM you.
Thanks!
Are these still available?
I need the fog lightw now
