Congrats, keep us posted.

First big pull today.
2200 to 6800 in 2nd gear. All I can say is WOW! Of coarse the car is not at full potential but, man after 2.5 years of not feeling any REAL power, it was amazing. I hit 16 psi and the af stayed within reason for tuning . Lito has just sent me a new tune file with a few changes and I will test more this week.
I do have to say this is very stressful knowing my hands put together every part that I am pushing on now! I was very nervous about the big pull today and was only planing on going to 6500 but, my mind was watching all the gauges all the while wondering if the car was going to break traction.
I am very impressed with my suspension setup and the Nitto DRs, I don't really know what power level I am at right now but, the car hooked and stayed hooked from 2200 to 6800 on a 2nd gear pull that netted 16 psi.
Fun day, that's all I can say. Detailed the car and did my 1st big pull on the new setup!
Only down side or issue I have found is, that I have a slight oil leak. It is at the rear of the motor so, my fingers are crossed that it is the pan. I don't want to have to think about a seal issue at this point. Things are going to well.
Good news! I know how you feel when you talk about putting it together yourself and hoping things hold, lol
Glad to hear it. The part about building the motor yourself shouldn't make you nervous. You know everything was done correctly, that makes it better than anything you could of paid someone to do!
Trace the oil leak. A front leak will travel down the pan, across the block and drip off the bellhousing.
I'm looking forward to more reports now that it's in the final stages.
Your oil leak is either your rear main seal, damaged oil slinger(most likely), or the rtv on the rear main seal cover is not a constant bead. Feel the engine side of the flywheel and see if it is oily, if so then most likely the oil slinger.Yea, you have to start to ask your self if you checked everything like you should have.
Even after all the time I spent in the garage, checking everything ten times, I have to ask myself if I checked "everything" . LOL
The oil leak is at the rear of the motor for sure. After 46 miles of driving and testing today the car only has some oil on the pan, trans pan, and a little on the x pipe. After the drive it left a 2" spot on the drive after a 2hr cool down.
The car should be pretty sick, I have only started to feel the power and granted , I have been out of the car for a while, It feels very strong.

After looking this evening, I may have a leak at the rear seal plate. There is no oil on the flexplate and there is on the back of the block and seperator plate and at the base of the trans. case that seeps onto the back of the oilpan. Maybe I should have kept the MMR seal plate! LOL!!!
Are you sure its not the tranny vent because the lentech vents and dumps out the top and it runs right down the front and looks like a rear seal deal...any fluid at the round hole in the bottom front of the tranny?

Good to hear! Kinda funny when you think about it...your car is kind-of re-born and you're putting a diaper on it...just like a new baby.

The plug is in place, mine actually is a screw in plug threaded into the block. I used black rtv on the plate and across the rear of the pan. I also used a new seal. I think it is good now. I will pull the diaper off and inspect it this week. I did some driving today and one good pull for Lito.just asking, is the rear main oil galley cup plug in place (even though this should leak into the crankcase, inside the rear seal retainer plate - not an external oil leak and engine would have low oil pressure), what type of sealant did you use on the rear seal retainer plate. Also did you run a bead of sealant across the block to seal retainer plate joint before installing the oil pan.
