I hear you on the Carmax thing but until they can put eyes on the target there is no way they can give an offer.

I don't see why the tuner would not work on the 11/12's, as long as the plug into the OBD II port they should work....you should have to un-marry it from the 10 but that that should be it.

It was never married to the 10. I haven't used it, but I'll call SCT tomorrow and get the skinny. They have a new wireless that plugs into the port and you DL the free app on iPod or iPad. Not an iGuy, but that looks way cool... what about Android?

Anyone not familiar with the 5.0 here it is. Be careful though, the sound is intoxicating...

Virginia International Raceway
May 25-27, 2012 - Danville, VA.

Three Days of Full Course at VIR…don’t miss the best HPDE event of the year!

If you like to drive fast and not have to worry about getting a ticket, then the SCMC has something to ease your adrenaline pain. The SCMC, along with the SVTOA and Track Club USA will be holding its third SVT Superfest at Virginia International Raceway in Danville, VA. The fest includes three days on the 3.27 mile full course where you can reach speeds in excess of 130 mph all in a safe, controlled environment. Instructors will be available and you do not need any special equipment to run on track over the weekend. However, you must be a member of either SCMC, SVTOA, or TCUSA in order to run track with us. To join the appropriate club go to one of the links below:

The event also includes a Friday night social, Saturday night banquet, Saturday Mustang and Ford car show, and parade laps all three days. Last year we had over 150 Mustangs on track at lunch doing parade laps and having a blast. There are no special requirements like helmets, harnesses, to do the laps, just simply obey the speed limits that are set for the event.

We will also have some select drivers doing charity laps all day long so you can pay to catch a ride with someone and feel the excitement of going around the track at speed all the while making a donation to a worthy cause. Last year, it was for the Susan G Komen foundation.

Event Date: May 25-27, 2012

Join the SCMC, SVTOA and TCUSA for a weekend of open-track fun as we celebrate our third SVT Superfest. The "on track" portion of this event will be the "Full Course" configuration which is a 3.27 mile track layout. Other venues include a Friday "Meet and Greet", Saturday "SVT, Mustang, and Ford Show and a Saturday evening banquet.

PLEASE FILL OUT ALL OF THE BOXES UNDER THE "OPTIONS" AREA. It is extremely important that all of this information is filled out completely in case of a medical emergency. No information will be shared with anyone else without your consent or in the case of emergency and only with emergency personnel. You must fill all of this information out on-line or you will not be allowed to participate in the 2012 SVT Superfest "On Track" event, Superfest Car Show, or Saturday Banquet. Failure to fill in all of the information will cause your entry to be voided.


The SCMC/TCUSA Track committee will finalize all run group assignments. Driving instructors are mandatory for Group "Green" drivers. You will not be allowed to solo till the instructor feels you are safe to do so. Instructors are optional for Group "Orange and Red".

Convertibles without roll bars will not be permitted to run except during the parade laps at lunch. A light bar is not considered a roll bar. Bolt-in roll bars are permitted (factory installed functional rollover protection will also be permitted).

This event does not have spectators as everyone is considered and will be a participant. If you want to have access to the event, and will not be driving on track, then you will have to register for the car show even if you are registering your car for display purposes.
