That may also be partly attributed to a less than optimum 60', which affects the 1/8 splits. Also, look at our ET list. Every car running 11.4 to 11.6 has an 1/8-mi ET in the 7.3 - 7.4 range. And there are several examples of cars running 7.7s, finishing in the 11.8 to 12.0 range, with the quickest being 11.78.If you look at the ET spreadsheet, its common place for the blower cars to gain 26-29 mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4 mile. So a 90 mph 1/8th mile mph should easily be 116 to 119 mph. Based on that mph, he could run a 11.40 to 11.60.
Keep in mind, the 1/8mi split numbers on that run were 7.26 @ 94. And there were two reasons for the weak 1/4-mi numbers: A serious headwind that day, and my Art Carr POS torque converter was slipping bad after the 1/8. I would have expected the 7.26 @ 94 to be an 11.2x at 117-118.You yourself ran an 11.49 at only 115mph, right?
I can't see how that would have any bearing on street car status at all.PI Stallion triple disk 2800
Yea.. damnit.. I have been thinking about one of those too. Of course that would be the first step off the "street car" path that I am trying to stay on.
I wish someone would of called me!!

Oh please... Wasn't like it wasn't posted in the regional forum and I also sent you a PM.
Haven't decided if I am going this Friday or not. But they pretty much do open trials and the factory rubber shootout every Friday. Hit their web site for the calendar. I need to learn how to drive this thing all over again and only way to do that is to practice. I had better 60' times with the stick. Plus I have seen what the car has done with race gas, different rear tires, and someone else driving it. So I know what it will do. Now I just need to learn how to make it do it.
Ok, ---and what the car should be capable of with a better 60'. With a Saleen twinscrew there is no reason for 1.8X 60' times, they should be in the 1.6's at worst.
LMFAO! I had thought about saying I lost my cherry last night but I figured I'd get a shit load of guff for it!
Doc is right on the money about how he raced it. Same for me, spare tire, no wash job, BFGs and whatever was in the car(ipod, radar detector, etc.).
What was interesting, even with my crappy times, we were all still beating 2 Shelby GT500s; hell one even had paper plates (brand friggin new).
Mike
You seem to be missing the part where I said I run it exactly like I drive it daily. How many of them are running 1.6s at worst in full trim and daily driver tires?
Remember guys, I am do this for fun. Not to make the shadow that my dick cast bigger. That's why (like I said before) you don't ever see me talking about times.

That's a golden quote if I've ever heard one!!!!
