I was flying out of White Plains and stopped for gas at this little service station. It was full service only and I struck up a conversation with the attendant. I mentioned my Mustang and he said there was an old one in the service bay (along with several other much older cars). 7,000 original miles, it was in Italy and this local guys dad passed away and left it to his son is the story I was told. My phone died before I could take more pics.

they need to take that thing to Barrett Jackson! Average auction value is $246K... for convertibles. I hope they know what they have sitting in their service area.

My condolences.. I haven't flown out of that airport in about 6 years. If it is still anything like it used to be (a whopping 2 whole gates), it is a joke to fly out of.

Nice friggin garage full of cars!!

In 2007 maybe. The market has gone to shit more recently. They're not worth anywhere near that now. Badass car though, and I'd take anything in that garage.

They now have two doors that they somehow label Gates A B C D E F!
It still gets bad when two different airlines are trying to board from the same gate at the same time! But it still beats flying into LGA or JFK when you are going to be north of the city.

The inside of the garage was certainly a surprise, because it looked like a typical old school service station from outside.

All of the '70 Shelbys were retitled '69s I believe, as they didn't build any new ones the last year.
