Wow! The car now sticks like a fly to flypaper, and they have 30psi in them! Surprisingingly, no wheel hop either with my stock suspension. It just takes off like it is on rails now. FFW next weekend is gonna be FUN!!

Cool, Mike!!! What size did you get?

FWIW, I run 25psi on the street in mine, but I've never used them at the track.

I run mine 28 on the street, and 17 at the track. However, no need to go down to 17 if you hook at a higher psi.

275/45 R18. They fit my Fanblades perfectly, an are just a taste smaller in diameter than the BFG KDWs.

Thanks for the data; I'll run 25psi at the track.

Thx,

Mike

Thats probably too high for the track. I'd say 17 to 20psi will end up being the best range. My normal track procedure with a drag radial is to start at 20psi and make a run or two. If it doesn't hook, drop 1psi at a time until it does. It if hooks at 20, go up until it doesn't (then come back down 1).

What Don said. Couple of weeks back when we were at the track I was running 18 in my tires. Started off at 20 and was spinning, dropped it down a pound each run until it quit.

If you go out early when I go you should be able to make several runs in the open trials to get them adjusted... I say "should" because last time I went a couple of years back there were so many people there that folks were only getting 2~3 runs in the 2 1/2 hours they had for open trials.
