I can't imagine the 11+ having much better lower control arms then my stock 06 did. I have none adustable J&M lca, what a upgrade for $100 bucks!

they still suck on the 11-13... should be one of the first mods people do.

Well between the two options you listed, I would go with the JLT CAI. I think the Boss intake would work better for the 6 spd manual cars.
But honestly, I think gears would be the best bang for your buck.

410's on an automatic before any of those 2.
4.10's with the auto? He doesn't want to go slower.
Just wondering why no gears? That's the best mod.
Not on the autos. Unless he was considering 3.31's.
I honestly feel the car has enough low end pull with the converter to my tastes. I roast the tires as is from a dig at the track and on the streets.
Exactly. The converter was a wise choice. Gears would just make the tires go up in smoke more.
Neither. Since you are already roasting your tires, I would invest the money into suspension components to help you hook better.
Bingo!
But honestly, I think gears would be the best bang for your buck.
Not with the autos. The 3.15's matched with the 4.17 1st gear in the auto gets the car moving very well right off the line.

Well that's good to know.
To bad you didn't post this a couple days ago, I just picked up a set of 3.73's for my car yesterday.

i think a 6R80 car with a stock converter wouldn't need more than a 3.55...with a converter stock (perhaps 3.31 at most) would be it. that tranny is awesome.

I remember reading that on gears for these autos. I like how it feels. My stockers will definately stay. Grabber blue 5.0 we have almost the exact same mod list lol.

The problem is people see the number "3.15" and automatically assume gears will make a difference. And they can with the right mods but depending on tire size a gear change can mean shifting into 4th just before the traps thus slower times.

What are your mods?

Yea I agree. So what do u think is a mod that will make a difference? Besides tires and a power adder.

My current mods are:
Circle D 3600 Stall
K&N Drop In Filter
3" ORX
Kooks CatBack
Shaftmaster
Stock 3.15's
Lund Racing Tune (Also have a BBR)

JLT/BAMA tune was my first mod. I'm not use to people getting the tune with out the cai. JLT is my vote. But like I said before, if you have have traction issues, you might also wana look into suspension. LCA stop any wheel hop issues I had (not sure if you have that issue).

I think some RTS would be great for you to hook up. I know someone (me) that might selling a brand new setup with tires for a great price!

Someone hit the nail on the head on the first page when they said Radials. First thing that you need to do is invest in some tires that are going to hook. I cut a 1.8 at MIR on 295/30/20 Toyo Proxes. Thats not great but it beats the hell out of 255's. If your spinning more power isn't the answer. I have PS2's in 295s now and they aren't enough. I really need ET streets or nt05rs 24/7. I'd say spend you money there first.

Who wants to argue that 1k worth of suspension is better spent then spending that 1k on tires. Or that 1k worth of performance parts is better than 1k worth of tires to put the given power to the ground. Why do you think GT500's have never really been that great in stock form at the track. No tread; put meats on them and they are way better.

Oh and as far as LCA's go, I cut 1.550 60' on stock LCA's on 17" ET Streets. So take that for what it is worth as well.

Just my opinion.

Quit dicking around with things that are pricey and have marginal gains. Tires and spray for a nice 1 to 1.5 second et drop.

Spend a grand on longtubes for 10hp... lmfao...

Yea exactly why I just got the off road x instead. As far as the juice, Ive never been too fond of that.. Seems like I'll probably get 295/50-16 drag radials. See what this thing can do as is, cause 12.8 isn't cutting it lol
