Does your kit include new GT500 front dust shields?
No it does not... they're not necessary... in fact we remove them from stock cars all the time.

The stock GT ones will fit but they will not cover the entire rotor. Dust shields are not necessary.. in fact Baer, Wilwood, and Stoptech do NOT include them in their kits. The rotors tend to cool better without them.
BTW, they tried to deliver your rotors today

Do you have drilled/slotted rotors available for the front? I don't see them on your site in the drop down list.
Yes we do...
There was a typo on the site and it said Cross Drilled when in reality it is cross drilled/ slotted.Actually, we have them available in just about any color you want. Here are the color options and colors. I actually have a set of red ones I built for a customer ready to ship but he had to cancel because of some family emergencies
$250-Red, Yellow,and just about any solid non-metallic color.
$350-Candy Blue, Red,

Are the rotors directional? I've seen pictures of them facing either direction and I have a massive amount of sound coming from the brakes.. almost like when you use to put a baseball card in the spokes of a bicycle.
We've taken all of them on & off twice now and the sound is still there! Nothing is making contact other then the pads & rotors.. the wheels spin freely and there is no unusual rub marks or wear patterns.
Any ideas on what it could be?

Top picture is from last night's uninstall / reinstall, the bottoms were from the original install on the 4th of July.

Hey 69Mach, let us know how this works out. I have the Brembo BBK on order from these guys right now. I ordered back on June 19th. I sent an email to Mike yesterday looking for a shipping date. Did you end up going with the Hawk pads all the way around?
Your order is shipping today... it's odd that he is having these issues which is why I am having him call me to figure out what is causing the issues. We have over 100 customers with Slotted/ Dimpled rotors driving around and no one is having the noise issues that we are aware of. We sold quite a few of our Brembo BBK setups also and no one has notified us of any noise issues.
BTW, your calipers showed up today so they are all set to go

That's great news Mike! Thanks for the quick reply. Please keep us posted on what you find with 69Mach's situation anyway. I'd like to know if there is anything to be aware of before I start the install this weekend. By the way, will the rotros be marked left/right or with anything else indicating what the correct direction of rotation is? Like Mach said, I've seen em facing both ways.

Mikes a nice guy and I'm not knocking him in anyway, just reporting what's been done so far and the results.

Ended up getting lift time last night over my buddies.
- Put her in the air and drove her on the lift (do not try this at home we're what you call, professionals kids) and was easily able to reproduce the ticking sound. Figured it had to be the rears. So per Mike's suggestion we swapped out the Hawk pads with the OEM's we took off. Put her back together and drove her on the lift again.. Ticking was still there.
- Then Mike suggested it was the rotors. So we put the rear back to 100% stock. Ticking was gone! ...figured it has a bad batch of rotors and that was that.
- drove home and the ticking is still there.. only thing left is the front rotors. I'm not taking the Brembo's back off and putting the stock crap back on to test that.. so called Mike as I was gettting ready to head home. I believe he's going to send me a different set / brand of rotors, but I'm waiting on a call from him this morning.
Not the solution, I did the bedding procedure off Hawks site twice. Once after the initial install on the 4th, then again after we uninstalled / reinstalled the brakes on the 9th. Didn't bother the last night after we uninstalled / reinstalled / uninstalled / reinstalled OEM for the rears sense it didn't make any sense to do so. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Oh and the Slotted Dimpled Rotors are not directional. That was the first thing we checked.

I understand you have probably done this bedding procedure already but am asking you to do it again to see if we can fix the issue for you. After thinking about the information you gave me last night I really think the edges not being smoothed out is the issue. Another thing I thought would probably help is to take steel wool or sand paper and sand the edges around the slot and wholes to smooth out the edges to make sure they are 100% smooth. For Mustang rotors there is no left or right side and they are the same for both sides... you telling me the noise is coming only from one wrong makes me believe the edges not being smooth may be the issue,
