Its not painful anymore lol.... i was happy i pushed his shit in. And air ride is thr last thing my car needs right now......

Built 4r70w manual valve body trans is next

Pulled this from the other thread so not to get off topic again over there lol.
So with the 4r70 are you going full drag setup? Or are just tired of fighting a manual trans/clutch at the power your going to be making?

If going 4r70w, I recommend not going with a unit that has a fixed line pressure. I have the Lentec Strip Terminator and if I did it over again I would have went with the Street Terminator so I would have adjustable line pressure. With a fixed line pressure the drivetrain tends to "thump" while shifting under 25% throttle.

You dont want a manual valve body auto. Such a pain in the ass, and not any better or faster then a computer controlled one

How is it a pain in the ass? You just hit the shifter and it goes, don't even need to come off the gas lol

My thoughts too. I love my 4R with manual vb. It's like having a manual without having to worry about tearing up the clutch.

I am still leaking fluid from somewhere. Even after the slave was replaced last Thursday the clutch never went back to shifting smoothly. It still never fully disengages. I guess its time to start troubleshooting... Not my favorite part of working on cars. I am still finding small pools of what looks like Dot3 on the garage floor. However it doesn't seem that the fluid level is dropping in the reservoir.
