Any update? Just thought about this car since I'm watching Mecum right now

A couple interested people but they want something for nothing so it is just sitting on our showroom floor still.

It still up in the air if we are taking the car to the block, like I said before there is no rush. If we do decide to take it to an auction I'll definitely update this.

Me too! I'll even take $50K, I'm not as greedy as Agent007.

Man that is a beauty of a car.

The car will be available for public auction this upcoming January at Mecum Auto Auction in Florida.

Put it on Barrett Jackson. Should have no problem getting a buyer then. That car is so rare someone will forkout the money

We like BJ, but the timing worked out better at Mecum, and they are specializing in muscle cars or something for this one.

I also heard they will be featuring our car in the auction catalog.

Just an update for the guys who were interested about the sale of the car.

The car was just picked up today by enclose transport. It is now in route to the Mecum auction in Kissimmee, FL. We also sent our 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible to be auctioned off too. I'll be happy to post the results of the auction.

Hopefully we will find both of the cars happy new owners! Last I checked there will be at least 3 1969 Boss 429's going through this auction (including ours)!

The auction is set to take place January 24-29th. The Boss is scheduled to hit the block on Friday, the 25th.

It should bring in a pretty good price. The trend now is factory original vs restoration, so with 34k miles everything should be factory ( not restored) which makes it worth more.

If only we were around back then. I would have bought this and some hemi cars and sold them 40 years later and retire.

I may have to go check it out if they let me in. I've never been there before but I'm close enough to drop by (20-25 miles away).
