Say what you want...I'm gonna ask it.

OK, so on a 2010+ mustang, the section of the car just behind the doors between the quarter window and where the quarter panel comes down to the tire....that 2 or 3 inch section that tappers back to the rear deck....what is the best way to hit that with a PC?

I've got a nice section in the center that look good, but then on the edges before the section goes perpendicular to the ground it's a bit hazy.

Just having a hard time getting a good finish in that location.

5 1/4 (or there about...can't remember exactly).

I'm assuming you're going to suggest getting a smaller back/pad?

Since you have a PC, I would definitely get smaller pads. When I had my PC, I had 3" 4" & 5.5" Hydrotech Pads. I've since upgraded to a Flex3401 but I do miss the ability to use a 3" pad in those small areas.

would you recommend skipping the PC and buying a flex first? May be off topic, lol arrest me

If I were to do it all over again, I would buy the Flex. I was able to recoup most of the money I spend on the PC. It really depends how much money you want to spend and how serious you are about detailing. Night and day difference between PC & Flex, definitely get things done faster with the Flex

Yeah, not looking to pick up a Flex any time soon. I know (from what I hear) it's a better piece of equipment....I'm just in the process of getting rid of all consumer debt and just can't justify the cost right now.

But I appreciate the suggestion. Maybe later this year on the Flex.

I'm running a pretty Epic Flex sale currently, have a few left in stock before the promo is over. PM or call me for details.

OP, if you're sticking with the other polisher, I should have 4 inch backing plates and pads in stock, let me know!

Thanks!
