I'll say this much. Based on what I know, I will no longer be chasing the 1000whp mark. I am going to sit tight at the 750-800s and call it a day so it lives a while.

Look for a new thread coming soon wow thats crazy. No sense in building 1000 rwhp if you can only get a handful of passes out of it. The 3V blocks never had this problem, correct? Just the new coyote block? I remember taking pictures of a broken coyote a couple years ago when it failed, but at a lower hp level.
I guess if this is true, (that 2 of the new blocks have already failed) that a filled block is the only way to go for that power level. Bye-bye street car though.
I think the best way to go when hunting down big power is sleeves. Period.
Or buy a Supra... LOL! Wait, what?![]()

If by 7.0 in the 1/4 is what you are referring too? In the blue car? That block is not a street use block, IIRC it's at least half filled if not more, it's a strictly race car block
You sure can, factory heads bolt right on, these are 100% streetable and the sleeve thickness is double that of the new FRPP block.
I think we have the answerLook for a new thread coming soon
the 3v Boss Block had its own set of issues like blowing the mains out of the block since its only 2 bolts.
Or buy the new JPC Block![]()
Isn't that what ford started doing with the newer crate motors? Only cast with it instead of an insert.
Looks like a "bushing" for the lack of a better word. Wonder if it will cause hot spots along that side?

Looks almost to big in the channel and could restrict flow alitle to much
i will have some more info for you guys by the end of the week.
This is a much bigger area then the ford block. So far we have a good amount of time on a 2011 making 1100 HP with this mod. I dont see how a hot spot will be a problem we have done a bunch of testing with the cooling portion of it. I dont have the info in front of me but i believe we have about 59 Square centimeters of support. Like i said i will have an official release soon.
Not trying to clutter up beefcake thread too much here.
Thanks guys
See my post above. The block with the cast supports are the new "test" blocks which aren't available to the public yet (or may not be at all). The crate motors come with the production '13/14 block without the revision.
Does this mean the 13/14 blocks are ok/stronger than the 11/12's?

Yes, they are made out of Kryptonite per my inside source.![]()
Yours is made out of car wax so it wouldn't make any difference.
MMR sleeved block is a option as well. They have been 7.0 with it.
That block was completely filled. No street use.
Just Another 700whp DD 5.0
A quick look at that car and you'll also see there's no cooling parts to be seen, to further prove it's filled.
