Talk me out of getting a Diablosport Intune...

I can only think of reasons to GET one (with lifetime Bama tunes).

- more power
- better gas mileage crazy
- better throttle response
- lifetime tunes for future mods

Car (motor-wise) is stock (Roush axle backs and JLT catch can). No plans for major mods but who knows what the future holds.

Can anyone help me NOT spend the money?

SCT based tunes. More industry-wide support, and if you ever decide that you want to move up with mods, you're more likely to find tuners that use SCT than Diablo. Buy the right tool the first time out.

no one tunes with diablo, diablo forget tunes all the time they're junk in comparison to an sct. i've had both adn will never get anything but an sct.

My car runs like a beast with mods in sig, using the Intune and Bama. JPC tunes with the Intune also, and they are a pretty reputable shop. I have no complaints. Will it run .1 faster with the almighty AED tune?? Probably.....but I'm fine with the way it is now.

Look to the future. At some point you may decide to do some real mods that require datalogging, dyno time, and a skilled tuner. If that ever happens you will end up buying the sct you should of bought in the first place. Tuners hate diablo tuning software. The only reason you will see it pushed is because of the profit margin involved.
