was he referring to the shims? i would measuring out the cams. i am on board with the possibility they fucked them up when they ground them. sure would not be the first time

The only crazy thing about that is they came off Silverpoisons car and he says there were no issues? So I don't know lol... All I do know it the has a valvetrain rattle until it reaches operating temperature then runs damn smooth... I am starting to worry that I have spent so much time trying to diagnose the problem that seating the rings are going to be a bitch if they seat at all...Im hoping my BR-30 saves my ass...

Let me get this clutch situation figured out and get the car driveable... Ill attempt to get the rings seated and then readdress the valve train chatter once I get the car lined out...

There combo worked great on my car never had a single issue with the combo and is proven to run and make power. Only thing I can think I would have changed if was keeping the combo was probably lifters but they were fairly new.

well regardless its one more piece of the puzzle you could eliminate if you measure them / use them and you still have the same problem.

Deer season and work have consumed my life... I rep almost 30 aftermarket manufactures and with sema right around the corner I dont get mich time to myself and when I do I dont even want to think about car stuff lol... good news is I am moving when I get back from vegas so I have to have it going by then...
