Started it and made a short sound clip video then pondered about where to mount my catch can.

Curbed my rims rather than allow my steed to be sideswiped by a full sized pickup truck. Braked hard and turned left when I realized the idiot was going to take over my lane.

It happened at 0530 on a round-about with no one else around. I didn't even get his license plate as he was to the right. Wouldn't have mattered anyway - my word against his and he suffered no damage. And I didn't chase him down knowing if I did I'd do something that would cost me a lot more in the long run.

Worst part is I can't replace these. They're 12mm offset and clear my Brembos. Can't buy them anymore - the one's available now don't clear the big brake systems.

^^^^ Check around, there are wheel repair places that can fix that easily.

You can get those wheels redone.

I worked for Dealerships for over 16 Plus yrs. and we had many wheels repaired.

Those guys travel the dealerships so all you have to do is find a dealer you know and see who they use.

Then give that person a call and set up a time for them to do it.

They are mobile so in some cases they can actually come to where you are.

Thanks guys. They are such beautiful rims and the number of compliments I've received are innumerable. Having a machined lip (fine lines rather than a perfectly smooth surface) I'm concerned how a grind and buff would appear. They're clear coated to boot.

But it's better than the alternative so I'll see what I can find around here for repair options.

Relocated the Mustang to the detached garage. At least it's the same color.
