After watching and reading this thread over the years, I finally bit the bullet and ordered my Paxton kit. I went with JPC's Competition Kit (thanks for the help Aaron!) along with their t-bolt clamps, aluminum coolant tank and Tial blow-off. I'm excited to get it all together!

Haha, well I guess this thread has only been going for a little over a year, but the first magazine stories about the power the Coyotes were making with boost was a major influence in my purchasing my '13. I've been enjoying it for a while NA, but it's time to step it up!

Speaking of which: Those of you guys with the thicker Boss / Track Package radiators; what are you doing about the electric fan? I've seen links to the Summit fan and references made to a GT500 fan, but are they required? Will my factory fan still work, but just be a PITA to trim? I already ordered a non- Track package lower radiator hose to delete the oil "cooler" I'm just going to go to an aftermarket oil-to-air later on.

It will work. Just need to cut more of the shroud. Also if you get a bmr rad mount it will make alot more room

I've got a Steeda radiator mount, hopefully it'll provide the same clearance. Thanks!

Just pulled the trigger on a kit from beefcake. I'm so excited! It's all because of this thread and the info that's been posted. The car went a best of 12.2@118 with my stock worn out 245 tires and a few boltons which are not listed below. The car has less than 19,000 miles on it and is a 2011 mt82 car, 3.31 gears. The build this winter:

Novi 800hp 2200 kit
ID1000's / included boost a pump
T-bolt clamps
18x9 amr wheels on 275 555's up front
18x10 amr wheels on 305 555r's out back for the street
Bmr lower control arms
DSS alum driveshaft + loop
Barton 2 post + clutch spring mod
Modded white line trans mount

And maybe a few other things as the winter progresses. So far that's all I have. I can't wait for the boost!

Since its been cold out (houston weather below 50), twice now ive walked out to the garage in the morning after driving car night before, and there was coolant under the passenger side front by the tank on the floor. Ill start the car let it warm up fan cycle on and t stat open and coolant tank isnt low. Like i didnt loose any fluid....

Will my 305 wide 555r hold the power of this kit? What are you guys running on the street/strip?

onebadgsx I had that same exact thing happen to me a few weeks back I ended up retightening all the hose clamps on the passenger side, and then I put an extra hose clamp next to the existing clamps on each hose to make sure all was good an tight.

With that all being done I have not had another drop of any coolant come from the car after a night of it sitting. I guess my car had a small leak from one of the splice points on the rad hose, but no longer.
