3 valve e85 tune pretty basic with a few bolt on's . rules are classed by 9.5 rwhp to 1 pound of race weight with driver 310 rwhp yup 2,850lbs with me in it. "150 lbs with gear".and yes that is what it weighs...
Really, I figured the car alone, at race weight, would be around 3000 at least.

I've got a really nice set of intercomp scales that tell a different story.
But is that full race weight yet? If so color me seriously impressed. These cars at sub 3k LBS should be a serious contender.

yes, that is at race weight . with driver leaving the race track. Now that is not figuring gas but my math is pretty good and I look to see the car having less then a gallon of gas when leaving the track.
Keep in mind this car is gutted. everything inside underneath is gone. if it's not needed to help hold the car together it's gone. lightweight k-memeber light weight sway bar mount light weight brakes, 16 lb odyesse, lexan sides and rear ,pin on trunk and passengger door skin. driver door gutted with aluminum hinges battery etc.. etc... I'm even running the 5spd cause I didn't want the weight of the 6 .
Well gas shouldn't be more than another 100lb, probably more like 60-80. I guess that's what makes a body in white so convenient, you don't have to tear all the crap out of it.
Aside from the cage did you do any chassis stiffening? Which suspension are you running (Griggs)? Which wheels?
Is the GT500 and regular GT ABS system different? I'm putting GT500 brakes on my car but I find the stock ABS a bit sensitive...not sure how the big brakes will change that (if at all).
