I don't know of anyone with any issues with 18x10's. There is even a few cars with 18x11's and 295/35/18 bfg rivals.
The wheel should fit and the tires will have a little stretch. I'd recommend 295/35/18 big rivals.
20x10 +48 clears. Can't speak for the 18".
+40 is perfect, but yes, a +45 is better than a 48... 48 won't always work.
45 and 48 will start to get close to your swaybar endlink stud and strut housing up front
I'm pretty nervous to pull the trigger on the 20X10 with +45 all around. I was hoping to run a 275 wide tire or up to a 295.
I'll have to look into it more.
Thanks for the input!
I think I'm going to pull the trigger on Trackspec's EC-7 group buy deal, +43 on the 18 x 10's. 275 40's shouldn't be a problem and you get a race certified light weight wheel for under $300.
Do the AMR 18X10 +48 offset fit the front with stock struts? I get a lot of mixed answers on the +48 fitting? Would like to hear from someone running them. I am looking at running 285/35 tires as well. Also will they clear big brake kits?
Yes, I'm running that same wheel all around with 274/40s. They clear the 07 GT500 Brembos just fine.
Moving up to a 285/40 after these tires wear out.
