RIP - You will be missed
Here you go Norm....behold, the power of the dremel lol!

Once I cut the line in the outer case it basically sprang open a little. Removed that and then I finished cutting the inner sleeve and it sprang open too. Really very easy ;suprisingly). When cutting the inner sleeve, you know you're deep enough when you smell burning rubber ;).

I'll get back to cutting the rubber off later. I'm in no rush.
Thanks.

I've been idly wondering if the liquid could be replaced by something like RTV or silicone sealer, and how that might turn out . . .

One more to go. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1394495580.752752.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1394495595.624516.jpg

I thought cutting the inner most sleeve off was the only real pain. Worried of jacking up the bushing mount.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1394495741.601019.jpg
Nicked it at the end of the mount.

Griggs!

I'm kinda mad they just redid their watts link design though. Guess I'm stuck with the old model for now.

Next step is the SLA kit up front.

Old model is pretty nice. SLA....damn. Who is doing the install?

Yea I looked at the models are there really isn't that much. The geometry is a little better, but hell, the old design was already the best on the market.

I'll probably do the install myself. I did the torque arm and watts by myself and it really wasn't that bad at all.

Does anyone know if Vorshlag is doing this with their red car? I would be interested on what Gs their pulling using those big 345s
We're fighting with AiM Solo and Dashware software right now trying to get the data overlaid onto the video from our last NASA TT event. Figure on a max sustained 1.4-1.5g lateral without aero is the practical limit for a sedan. With downforce that number goes up, of course, but it isn't THAT much higher.

Corey Wells' ZR1 in TT1 racing with NASA at MSR-C, 3/9/2015. 1:17.290 lap with data overlaid = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybA-PHGjrU4&feature=youtu.be

Here's an example (video: http://youtu.be/ybA-PHGjrU4) of lateral loading at road course speeds with big tires on a modern sports car. This is one of our customer's nearly stock ZR1 that we've worked on that makes 585 whp, has Michelin slicks, an LGM front splitter, Cobra seats/Schroth harnesses/harness bar, stock ceramic brakes, and a camber kit. Engine is stock, car is daily driven - and look at those lateral g numbers! Michelin slicks are no joke, and they are better than the Hoosier A6s we run (but they take 3-4 laps to come up to temperature).

This is what we're trying to do with our videos from this same track event (Brandon is working on this today) and from now on, once we get the export parameters and filters set-up properly. We are using the exact same data logger/timer and merging software he is (I just upgraded to an AiM SOLO DL with OBDII data stream). We actually ran almost the exact same lap time that day (1:17.310) but his straight speeds are a tick higher than mine (585 vs 442 whp, less weight). I will post up when we get the "ones and zeros" to play nice.

edit: it might be nice if a moderator would pull these track/autox video and data logging posts into its own thread? This thread is already so huge and these have gone off on a tangent.

You guys might try using RaceRender for the overlay; it won't look as sexy as that dashware stuff but it's easy to use/sync and looks pretty decent.
