And you are running the Pro 275s, right?
No, I am running 325/60/15 Hoosier DR's.
I have been advised to go to the M/T pro 275's but they are 2 inches narrower and I'm wondering if it's a good go or not.
I'm about ready for some new rags about now....

How do you like those M/T's? What tires were you running before?

Really digging the radials, been 1.2x and 1.3x pretty consistently on the tracks out in Florida without really any suspension tweaking. Will see how they do on the tracks back home but I'm expecting them to be decent. The new radials seem to take some wheelspeed and recover where the old radial didn't, nothing like slicks recovering but still pretty cool.

I was running hoosier stiffwall 28x10.5's before. Keeping those around just in case I get on any crap prepped tracks and need the additional flexibility.

I'm on stock suspension at full weight (a real street car) so tire selection is key to get the most out of it.

Looks like they have some good product. 116 unleaded is unheard of!
Wonder what it costs...?

Still, e85 for 3.20/gal is hard to beat.

I have no clue on cost. Ill ask Jim to post more info if he can. The Gulf racing fuel is making its way debut thru the NMRA Circuit this year.

Well, if it's really all that good there are two things you can probably count on;
1) It will be crazy expensive and;
2) it will probably be banned from class racing.

It pretty much is. The reasoning generally given is that an oxygenated fuel won't pass NHRA fuel check. Problem with that argument is that VP C44 did that, last century.

It does affect it, you need to make some changes as you need more fuel volume with the FTW purple. Lots of hype about it which I didn't believe, and after using it my stance is that in an NA application it doesn't live up to the hype. It's worth a little, but it isn't much, not worth the cost. My understanding is that a forced induction application will see a much larger benefit, but I'd have to experience it myself rather than taking the word of someone trying to sell something.

Thoughts on E85 benefits for a NA car as a whole? My best run was on E85 although I switched to a ET Drag as well. It was a leave nothing on the table moment. Comparing 60' times ET Street Bias ply vs ET Drag suggest the ET reduction was strictly attributed to the tire. MPH was static.

TNT tomorrow night, I am on the fence to leave pump 93 or swap out to E85 again. Weather conditions will be very similar to the 10.88 run.

Track conditions are an unknown. Its Gville after all...

If the water grains are high I would stick with pump unleaded or some unleaded race gas. If the water grains are low run e85.

Just a few hundredths vs pump gas in my opinion, which I attribute to getting more aggressive with the calibration. I'd expect the same on race gas with the same done to the calibration.

Went with half a tank of Sunoco 93.

As normal, Gainesville placed little effort into track prep for a TNT session.

Four runs best to worst: 11.07 / 11.11 / 11.14 / 11.30
60' times ranged from 1.78 to 1.58

Lowered launch RPM to improve 60' performance. MPH fluctuation as the car was moving around mid track. Moisture was starting to collect on the track. Couple of times the pucker factor was high.

MPH was off .05 from the best E85 number. My view is that with solid track conditions and less air moisture, the numbers would have been almost negligible between Pump 93 and E85 at least for my combination.
Video of 11.07 run:

Time slips attached.

Not bad for a 3V on the stock bottom end, stock heads and stock rear end. 500+ rwhp and roughly 250 passes down the strip. Bitch just won't break.
