Do some research on this. It may not be that easy. Samsung is really screwing people over with KitKat permissions and also with their new knox protection. People are having problems getting the S5 to connect reliably. I have a Note 3 that's still on 4.3 and it works ok with my AppRadio 2, but I have OTA updates blocked so that kitkat does not get pushed to it. And I'm patiently waiting for someone to crack knox so that I can freely install custom ROMs. When it works it is awesome, but when it doesn't it's a major PITA...

I was reading some forums and saw a video of someone with a rooted S5 mirroring it on the AppRadio3 with no issues. It's something I am wantign to do in the future so hopefully it will be cracked for AT&T when i plan to do it. Probably not for a few months anyway.

I'll keep reading to make sure it's possible. I'd be stoked to have all my apps at my finger tips on my radio!

I really love mine...when it works.

The AppRadio bluetooth connection itself sucks. And with the new permissions issues, it becomes hit or miss whether you can get your phone to connect. Plus the AppRadio phone "application" sucks as well. I wish that we could just use the phone's calling features.

Area51, the developer of ARUnchained, is thinking about developing a stand alone interface for the AppRadio, so that you don't have to use the AR's crappy software at all. I hope that that happens and I hope that the permissions issues are sorted out and that someone cracks Samsung knox protection.

It is definitely a step in the right direction, but it's still a work in progress.

For me, the head unit would ideally be a dumb touchscreen with an amplifier and microphone...no software, just complete mirroring of the display and touchscreen. And an amplifier to power the speakers and a microphone for handsfree/voice control. The phone already does everything else.

I like my AR2. It looks good, plays music, and was a mere $170 from best buy lol.

I got mine for $160 from a member here, so I can't complain too much. It's a hell of a deal...way cheaper than any other decent stereo, and the sound is good.

Rick, mines next! Once you get your's sorted on Nitrous, I'd like to do that to mine!

I am building the ultimate CJ plate kit for a Coyote ;-)
once it's built and tested we can copy and paste to your car ;-)

Only going 100-150 on stock motor as that will put me @ 600-630rwhp thru the auto

I plan to get IS to modify the plate later for my built motor to be able to spray 400 on the plate alone

What about on my M6? Any problems with nitrous and standard transmissions?

hahahaha I know dude it was a shocker seeing my car after I was done putting it together. To be honest I was irritated at first because raising it was going against everything right in my brain. The car just drives and performs SO much better with actual suspension travel, I could drive it all day long now. Never again will I go so low lol

The manual won't have any problem with Nitrous in neutral...the occasional 1st gear or reverse should be ok as well....

Make sure to take the bottle out and polish the under side of it though...
