The cats cut a lot of the rasp out of the exhaust setup and I think that helps out a ton. Without them, or with high flows it has enough rasp that is sounds like ass to me. Unless I can keep this sound (with maybe a little less volume) with some tweaks to the exhaust, nothing is going to change with the exhaust.

That's assuming the citizens don't bitch about "some jackass with loud exhaust that works for the city"... No free pass here. It'll get tweaked if the boss gets any complaints.

I washed/waxed mine and swapped out the shifter today. Looking good taxman. Great eay to spend a Sunday. I wish there was a mustang club around here for my wife and I that was active. I think it would be a good stress reliever for us both. Between the two of us we have 3 mustangs. Her 65' fastback, the 02' new edge and my 05'.

Parked mine in a garage for the first time in forever. Moving sucks, but I'm glad to stop worrying about parking next to other people, even if it's temporary.

Like the defuser, do you have the front too, gauges look great, nice improvement over stock pod.

Those damn things are pretty pricey. Very nice addition to your ride.

Well I decided to sell my parts, and trade the car in. So I removed my Koni double adj shocks, H&R springs, Strano sway bars, Magnaflow cat back, 275 Hankooks, and SCT Tuner last night.

Said to see it go.

Installed Bilstein Struts and Shocks, BMR Springs, BMR Adjustable UCA (and mount) and LCAs (heim/poly joint), BMR A Arm support brace, BMR front drive shift safety loop, vorshlag brake lines and brake duct plates (with hoses as well), Centric Cryo-treated rotors, Centric Pads, McLeod Clutch Line, and MGW Shifter.

Pluses:

MGW shifter is awesome ( but I can't get my rally ball to stay in place even with the jam nut).

Brakes feel amazing and car doesn't dive nearly as much.

Must have fixed an unseen issue because my gas mileage went up from 20-21 to 24.5 mpg. What was more impressive about this was a majority of my trip was uphill. Can't wait to see what I get on flat/downhill roads.

Minuses:

Ride is rougher than shit now. I feel like I will rattle myself to death. Tons of NVH.

Clutch line I feel now is a waste of time as I really didn't notice a difference.

Driver side front brake line looks like it wasn't made to the correct length and instead being screwed into the strut, I had to zip tie it to get ride of the rattling noise when it strikes the strut.

I'm going to Willow Springs next weekend for my birthday so I can't wait to see how she will run.

I think the NVH is coming from the fact that he's running heim joints.
