Pros and cons to the QA-1 adjustable rear shocks

I have SR springs and want I smoother ride. So I was thinking shocks would help. I want a street ride, weekend driver. Maybe drag strip a couple times. Thanks for all your guys info.

I need a link to the QA-1's you are talking about.

I will also need a link to the springs you are using (I don't know what SR's are) that includes their spring rate.

How am I supposed to know what you are talking about/what you have? Guess?

I think the SR springs are the American Muscle branded ones.

gmitch hit on it, it is hard to answer this question "properly" without knowing a little more info.

That being said, I am very familiar with the QA1's that you are likely looking at. They are single adjustable, right?

To answer somewhat, in a round about way, I definitely need to know a round about spring rate for the F/R springs.

From my experience with these cars, the rear spring rate change (stiffer) makes a larger impact on ride "quality".

AM's site says they are progressive. Yeah, that's helpful. First step would be ditching those springs.

Me has

Qa1 double adjustable shocks with CJ springs. They are awesome both street and strip.

1.63 60 foot last time at track
