Pulled some parts to go back to paint.

Actually found mold in the car it was sitting so long. Its time it stops raining over here so it can be driven.

Touching up some items as our annual Mustang Car Club of Omaha car show is on Sunday. Haven't been in two years so have no idea what I will be up against.

Decided I should probably sell it. Only drove it like 4,500 miles in the past 6 months; so it's basically a driveway decoration

My condolences. I was in the same position with my Challenger R/T so I traded that in for my 2005 Mustang. I only drive about 1,500 miles per year, but that's why I bought a pre-owned.

Good luck

When I bought the car I was used to driving 2-3,000 miles a month with my truck, and I knew that would drop some but I figured it would be made up with cruises and trips. But it's dropped way more than I ever expected cause I don't do trips or cruises

Thanks sweet tits :)

Sorry about your engine ... why not go through warranty? Is it that modded?

LMAO .... Memories :D

I could go through warranty but I don't have one persay. Unless the dealer was just trying to sell me an extended warranty but I was told because it was pre-production it didn't have one. That being said even if I did I plan on building the motor and shoot for 550 HP

Preproduction? Huh?

Unless the VIN starts with an X, it should have a warranty.
And if it started with an X, it'd be a car that wouldn't be legal to be registered. A show car only, destined for the crusher.

Yes sir, it was an MP car which from what I have been able to gather was used for media purposes. I guess that the guy I was talking with was just blowing smoke up my ass and trying to get more money out of me. This is a certificate from the owner of MP0005 which is also a LS.

...

He must've known you like things up there

Lol ... j/k ....

That's a new one to me ... I guess it really doesn't matter anyway since you're building it up for more power, but I probably would've tried a Service Dept that I wouldn't have mentioned to that the car's a pre-production.

I wonder what the OASIS report for that car says ...

EDIT: The window sticker doesn't say anything about it: http://www.inventory.ford.com/services/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=1zvbp8cu4c5199947
Window sticker actually shows the full warranty ... 3/36 bumper-to-bumper, 5/60 powertrain

And going to the ETIS site, it shows a build date of 08.12.2010 but again, no word of it being a preproduction car, and no word about the warranty

Not mine but just about finished up the turbo install on this 08 GT. Already had FRPP heads, cams and manifold.

Yeah... I want some.... After I forge my bottom end. I made my hood scoop functional today. You can't hardly tell either. Used my dremel tool to router out the holes between the webbing on the stock grill looking thing on the hood scoop and painted it black. Goal is lower underhood temp and IATs when it gets a hundred blinkin degrees during the summer here
