For trouble fee big power like this.. I will pay it all day long. Not having to put up with a bunch of bullshit all the time and about a million things that want to fail and blow up shit... pretty cheap option to me. My time is extremely valuable to me and I certainly have a more than a couple grand difference in the motor. My math works different from government math. I won't risk a motor for a couple thousand savings on a shitty problematic pile of shit kit. No thanks

Show me a "cheap, reliable and good kit" and I will bring the sandwiches and blow jobs lol... You bring that unicorn lol

"trouble-free" big power, that exists? :boobies:

I ran the Gen 1 R-Spec (which was archaic compared to the Gen 2 Crown has) setup for the past 18 months and never touched the car with a tool. I put gas in it, drained the oil breather and that is it. I'm pretty sure that is the definition of trouble free.:thumb2:

Stikjok, 19cobra93 and tons of other guys running big Whipple blowers. Granted they are 5.4 4v but ehh.. now they fit in 3v setups!

Pretty reliable unless you use drywall screws lol. Guy here in town with a 3.4l on his gt500. Runs like stock till you open it up

Lol.. that was for seer.. the one that ran a drywall screw thru his Whipple then sold it as mint condition (twice). Other than that they are hard to hurt

Oh, I thought you were talking about my bolt in the motor thread... :thud: I remember SEER.

Well, I was able to get the shop to polish my blower bracket so I could get that installed. Here is a pic of the bypass valve. Will get pics of the bracket installed tomorrow

Well, custom cams were ground wrong. Like way wrong. Fml. Vendor is taking really good care of me but this really screwed me beyond belief time wise.

Anyone want to buy a bunch of high end mustang parts?
