Wrapped the whole lower dash in leather, can barely tell but it's so nice to get rid of some of the god awful plastic in this car.

Very nice!

looks good - however I have to ask, why would you give up a air bagged steering wheel?

Pulled out my spark plugs cause I had some white ceramic looking stuff come out of my exhaust this morning. They are OK, any ideas? Also got a rattle from the exhaust somewhere. Any ideas?

The Cats maybe? I know there were some horror stories of the high flow cats breaking up and coming out the mufflers... not saying that's what it is, just saying keep an eye out for it.

Right. I'm hoping that's what it is. Darn it if I have to forge the bottom end though.....LOL

problem is you want to remove the motor and forge the bottom end before there is a window in the side of the block... makes the process much easier and less costly. :beerdrink:

Please for the love of god dont tell me you are running cats with a blower on your car.........Have you not read about all of the engine failures due to the cats melting or breaking apart and clogging the exhaust system?

Today I took my car to the track for the first time since I did my bolt on modifications. Stock on tire the car ran 8.0@88 mph. Today, first run the track was extra sticky and I launched too low, ended up bogging and ran an 8.6. Horrible. Hot lapped it, got my favorite lane this time. Best 60' I've had with the car at 1.71 car was running great until..........I went for 3rd gear. I thought I missed ended up locking it in second gear.

This is the second time it has happened, first time the dealership couldn't get the trans apart to see what happened. They just swapped in a new trans. That happened at only 6700 miles, and today again it happened at 10,300 miles. I am regretting getting a M6 car. I'll warranty it for now until tax season when I can buy a TR6060.

Drove it, and found out something kinda fun.

Supercharged 5.0 inhaling 50-degree air = drag radials didn't stand a chance

Uh oh! I'm running ARH high flow cats behind their 1.75" long tubes for a couple years with a KB. How common is this problem?
