Gabe, slipping and falling could be fun.....please record it.
jk man.

jk man.Leave the crappy stone walkway to the front door covered in ice for solicitors and Jehovah's Witnesses.

Bought it a garage with a 3-bedroom house attached![]()
Thanks guys ... we can't wait to put our beasts inside ... the closing isn't scheduled till mid-December, so they'll either stay outside till then or go into temporary storage for a couple weeks, which would cost us almost $300 for both ... I think they might just sit outside.
But once we get the keys, they'll be the first items to find a home in there, as we start the renovation ... adding columns to the front, changing windows, flooring, cabinetry, all kinds of stuff ...

Gabe, the way to fix that is with electric garage door openers. Drive into the garage and enter the house that way. Leave the crappy stone walkway to the front door covered in ice for solicitors and Jehovah's Witnesses.
Nice Gabe! Congrats on the new garage with an attached house!
Is there no ventilation in the soffits for air to get in or is it just the picture? Also, what is up with the piece of wood above the bay window? It looks like it is just a plank without really being attached to the house.
I actually filled up yesterday for $2.99 myself with premium. I live in Flower Mound, thats on the northwest side of Lewisville. Howdy neighborI'm at $2.99 in DFW for 93... Where are you?

Lol ... feeling the love .... ha!
Lol nah .... it already has openers with remotes so that's all set.
Thanks man ... that white thing is just trim . Not sure about the other thing ... Will have more pics Monday night after the home inspection that's scheduled mid-Monday
I'm sure you would be able to see the answers to your questions if the picture wasn't taken with a potato.
That is perfect timing since it is supposed to rain Sunday and Monday this way he can see if there are any signs of water getting into the basement and the foundation etc.
I would have him check the soffits since I see that you have some gables so I would imagine there is ventilation going into the attic as well. When I was helping my buddies dad for a couple of summers he would see it happen all the time where inspectors would see either a roof vent or gables and just automatically assume that the soffits were ventilated or never went into the attic space to check that the roof baffles (If I am remembering the name correctly) weren't being blocked. An improperly vented roof is a recipe for disaster and can lead to ice dams, damaged roofs, mold, moisture, rot etc., and can cause your energy bills to skyrocket as well.
I would hate to have you spend the money on what looks like a pretty nice house only to have to spend unplanned money on something that could have easily been caught. Sorry for the detour and putting my nose in your business.
Lol ... not my pics. That pic and a few others I've saved from the listing pictures.
Much better pics coming up.
No problem at all, you bring up some very good points, thank you ...
If you look in that pic above you can actually see that there are vents under the leading edge of that overhang, but I'm having a highly-recommended inspection company do the job, so hopefully they'll find it all.
On a side note, the seller signed the P&S yesterday, so it's officially in the books, unless something comes up in the inspection that we can't work out.
Congrats on making it official. I would be calling dibs on this room as my office in a heartbeat. I'd straight up push the Mrs. out of the way and sprint in there and yell dibs like a child calling shotgun.

I agree with Ryan. Otherwise it will end up as a sewing room or some such bullshit.
I'll accept it. But tell her I don't want to see it filled up with scrapbooking supplies.LMAO ...... that's gonna be the dining room ... right off the kitchen, it should be really cool to have parties out there and that double door leads to the large back yard and the deck ...
My office will be the garage, lol
