I have no beef with Terry, he is a very cool guy don't see why anyone would beef with him at all.
Only thing I can bag on Terry for is the #1 thing I hate in the mustang community.
Is when people build the shit out of their cars and don't race them.

I mean if you got your car to 1000hp running on bigs and littles and you just take that shit to the corner store... come on.
That shit makes me sadder than knowing Darren's car has become one with his garage.

Beyond that, he's all good in my book.

^Much like how attempting to belittle him makes so many of the people in this thread feel like bigger men.

Apparently it must or they would not drop by here.

Well at least it gives Shaggy a small break from them .............

I like it :thumb2:

I got my personalized plate ready for this season as well :highfive:

Seemed like a good choice to me.
So post up buddy what's coming to you ???
Yes I'm interested ......

Very true!

:highfive:

Gabe, you should read this article, it's one of the better explinations, before you state your expertise on drivetrain loss.

http://www.superstreetonline.com/how-to/engine/modp-1005-drivetrain-power-loss/

Earl, I've read a bunch on the subject.

The 15% is for generally speaking manual transmission cars.
As we both know mine has the TCI SSF and 20% is what's used.

I have never said the 20% is a number locked in concrete guys.
It's what many companies use but it does not mean you have to agree with it or use it yourself.

Since it's my Mustang I'll use that 20% number you should use a number you like.

Whatever number you use I want come to your thread and post some negative crap to you for your choice I can assure you.

I think the haters should get out of this man's thread! Go find something else to occupy your free time.
If you have such a problem with Terry, just get to stepping. No biggie.

Doug, Well said and it saves me the time and effort for me pointing the same thing out.

You know I have yet to figure out why another person takes their time to go to another members thread they don't like.
If you don't like the member or even that member's Mustang then why are you constantly posting to him.
Seems to me to be a case of Royal-Dumb-Ass to keep doing that.

How long does it take them to install a license plate? ..... :)

Andrew, Don't know as I'm here in TN and Brenspeed is in Pierceton, IN.
Hey, here is their number give them a call and be sure to ask for Brent.
I'm sure he will give you a matter-of-fact answer to that very question buddy.

Hey man you must have not read where if things go right we will be taking it to a local drag-strip close to Brenspeed's location.

I don't have bigs & little's under it that was years ago.
It was also raced back then.

For what it's worth I'll comment on what you have said above.
I'll race it when it suits me.
(Not intended as a Smart-Ass comment)
If I were looking at it from your end I suppose I can see why you think what you do.
A guy goes out and has built some bad-ass Mustang.
But then that person does not take it to a drag-strip and races it.
You think what the heck did you have that built for if you are not going to Race it.
So I can understand where your coming from.
Now I said I would answer you so here goes.
From this end I have screwed with this Bullitt Mustang for going on 7-years.
Yes I have spent to me some serious bucks.
It also has not been in my possession for many months at a time.
Finally it is what I want ........
Seriously it is what I want and now I want it to remain hopefully intact.
I very well might take it to the drag-strip just to have some fun with it in my way.
But if I do or not I'll still totally enjoy it in my way.
It's like anything in life we all do things that make us happy.
But what makes one of us happy will not other people.
This is one of those things that the two of us might understand one another but will do things different.
That's my best shot of trying to explain.

To you others that posted,

icon13.gif
I'm not going to waste my time posting to members that IMO are trying to be cute.

You might as well save yourselves the time it takes to post on this thread if all you have to say is something useless.

I hope that shit wasn't directed at me. I have never been anything but respectful to you Terry. The article I quoted simply points that you are comparing a static rating to a dynamic rating and it isn't really possible to come very close when trying to figure one from the other. You can use any fucking figure you want, it's your car and I could care less.

That was not directed to or at you it was just me saying to members that's the number I was using.
They could use whatever number they preferred.
I should have been much more specific in my wording.
My Badddddddddd

Nothing at all was directed to you in a negative way.
I said to you I had read that article and there are a lot of others on that same subject.
Some parts the different articles agree on and other parts they differ in what they think.

You Sir have my "APOLOGY" for thinking I was being a smart ass or anything else negative directed to you.

I prefer we remain as friends and I hope you feel the same way.

The internet is a faceless medium so the other person just sees text on a computer screen.
It's very easy for a person to possibly interpret what the other person actually meant in a completely different manner.

Take Care Earl,
Terry

It sounds like you've chosen that 20% number since it calculates out to that 1,000 that you're so hot for, instead of using a common sense number.

Going with that kinda thinking, I guess my car has about a 41% driveline loss and it's also making 1000 crank-hp ... the high driveline loss must be because the car is gray.

Yeah, that sounds good.

I have a 1,000-horsepower car too. Yaaayyyyy !

Well put. And I don't want to get off topic but the "street outlaws" are not running street cars. They also get owned at the track. I really like your car tiger but what's is best is the way you stayed classy. I'm not so sure I could show the same restraint.

Patrick,

I have not watched the "Street Outlaws" but I have heard about them.
As you say they are not for the most part running street cars.
That's what is I think unique about mine as it has all the Ford factory accessories and options fully functional still.
You can get in mine and fire it up, jump on the interstate, set the cruise, power steering, brakes, power windows, wipers, washers, shaker 1000 all intact and working.
Now that to me is what I call a real honest to goodness "Street Car".

I really like your car tiger but what's is best is the way you stayed classy.
I'm not so sure I could show the same restraint.
Patrick my man there is one thing for sure about some people.
In this world we live in there are Haters and they buddy only get attention if we allow them to.
I try my best to simply ignore them but even I slip occasionally and will speak out.
You know buddy when you see where a person gets on a thread just like this and can only post some negative comment.
It tells you instantly that individual does not have the ability to see all the good things about the car.
And one can drive mine anywhere they choose as in thousands of miles if they like.
And in doing so the driver can do it in comfort as the A/C & Heater work as designed by Ford.
So you won't Burn-Up or Freeze your butt off while traveling in it.

They only choose to spout off about anything negative and try their best to stir other members to join in on their stupidity.

Drop by any ole time and check here for further up-dates as I get them from Brenspeed.

It would be nice if Shaggy and the current Moderators would enforce the following.

THREAD TRASHING/INSULTS/THREATS=PINK/BAN

For now on, if someone is getting threads of track, or insulting other
members, they will be warned to knock it off the first time and then pinked if they do not stop
.
If they are sending any threats, they will pinked the
first time, then banned for good the next. I'm tired of the childish behavior,
thread derailing and insults to other members.
It's not adding anything
positive to this site. The forum is here for us to learn more about our cars
and help each other out, not to talk crap to each other
. ANYONE posting
someone else's personal information on the board will be removed from the
board! We can not police the site 100% of the time or 100% of the
threads/posts so we rely on you the members to help keep everything
under control and on track. I'm not saying you can't argue at all or
disagree, I just want to keep the threads as clean as possible and avoid
things getting too heated between people. We thank you guys for making
this site what it is!

I am glad to hear you will be taking it to the track.
I feel like if you didn't it would be mustang abuse, and I am against that!! :highfive:
I also just feel like you put lots of $$ in and brenspeed was the only one having fun in your car.
It's like buying a girl a boob job and letting other guys touch them, just feels wrong.

I can't say for sure what will take place when I go to pick it up this time.
But just maybe things will fall into place and a small group of us will get to go do some testing.
I know Brent wants to see what I can do with it on street tires.
And I would like to see what I can do with it compared to the last time I was on the same drag-strip.
I do have some major concerns though about doing the drag-strip thing.
I will have zero time in the car.
And I sure won't have any passes down any drag-strip.
So, I'll tell it like it is I doubt I will be willing to really go crazy the 1st few passes.
If it does seem to go straight and not just all over the track then I'll give it my best shot.
If the new power does just scare the crap out of me then so be it.
It's possible that could happen but at least I'll give it a shot.

Well, I suppose if I was just reading on an internet site maybe I might think like you that the company building the car was having all the fun.
I can see from an outsiders point of view that would be possible.

And us being guys your examples of the girl boob job.
Other guys getting to touch & play with them and not the boyfriend or husband.
Well we as guys do have away of picking examples :highfive:

LOL,
Terry

Okay I think we hit the nail on the head here.

Terry's FWHP is like a boob job. Great to look at and touch (if that is your thing) but not natural or "real". Some gels and guys are into them and some are not.

If terry gives the okay we can start a fund me campaign to finance Brenspeed pulling the motor and pulling an engine dyno.

Kinda of like an ultra sound to prove the boobs are real and not a boob job.

Who fucking cares! It's his ride and no one else has to drive it but him... I for one really like his car and don't care the "actual" HP it puts down. I'm just here for the updates to his sweet ride.
And all you whining bitches are blowing up my email notifications with your bickering. That's fucking annoying!! Leave the poor guy and his thread alone if you don't like what he posts...
It's like listening to my kids fight over the TV remote or who has to do the most chores! That or high school drama, and not the guy drama but the whining girl drama! Trust me I know! I have a 16yr old daughter and this is like reading her Twitter account...
This forum has more whiners than any other I've ever been apart of... I like this place but some of you guys just fuck it up. Like they say one bad apple ruins the bunch! To true...

Jeff,

You know I realize that even attempting to talk or discuss Mustangs with some of these members is just a total waste of my time or members like yourself.

If the only thing another member can think to post on here is about some H/P number they don't agree on.
Then it's obvious they either are totally ignorant to all the technology that went into the build.
Or they simply are trying their best to find something to bitch, piss and moan about.
It's a sad thing when in most cases here grown men don't have anything going in their lives but to get on the internet and make total asses out of themselves.

You know I use to think when any of us joined a Mustang site the members were on it to talk, see & discuss that.
Man talk about being naive I will have to say I definitely qualify.
I have found over the years there actually on this internet site guys that much prefer to belittle another member than to ever say something complimentary.

And after reading your post multiple times I will agree you are right on top of things for some of these that pride themselves being bullies.
What they will unfortunately I doubt ever realize they could make some new friends but they much prefer to be ass holes.

Jeff, check back here as you like for further up-dates.
I'll continue to post and discuss cars with the guys that wish to do so.
For what it is worth your compliments on the Mustang are appreciated.
In fact because there are still a very small minority of us that choose to talk cars I'll be around to do so.
